  1.      FILE NAMING METHOD

  3. Three methods are available for
  4. assigning names to translated docu-
  5. ments.    The RETURN key toggles among
  6. them.  Each is described below.
  7.  
  8. 1) Prompt User for Output File Name
  9.    (manually assigning names)
  10.  
  11.   The System requests the name
  12. under which to store each document
  13. as it is translated.  The user
  14. must respond with a valid MSDOS
  15. name, including any applicable
  16. drive letter and directory path.
  17.  
  18. 2) Auto Increment (using File Spec)
  19.  
  20.   Entries in the Output Directory,
  21. File Spec, and File Extension
  22. parameters are used together to
  23. build the filenames assigned
  24. to translated documents.

  26. 3) Default Title
  27.    (using source WP title)
  28.  
  29.   Entries in the Output Directory
  30. and File Extension Parameters along
  31. with a filename obtained from the
  32. source document, are used to build
  33. the names assigned to translated
  34. documents.
