  2. collection of PD and shareware PC programs. The file /pc/ts/0news
  3. contains news about the TS-programs in the /pc/ts directory (in
  4. reverse order). This text, which you now have, is an extract from
  5. the 0news file.

  12. Thu 15-Mar-90: I am submitting the second and the third of my games
  13. packages to the binary postings, and I have therefore updated the
  14. second of these packages to be tsgmec13.arc. Mostly I have just
  15. updated some of the documentation. The game of typevaders now
  16. restores the original screen after the game is over. Typevaders can
  17. no longer be interrupted by the break key. Revegame and witpin have
  18. only minor stylistic changes. - The first of the game packages
  19. tsgame12.arc (which includes an introductory management mage) came
  20. out in the binaries in spring 1989. - The third of the packages was
  21. recently announced in comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d for anonymous ftp
  22. downloading from chyde.uwasa.fi and Bill (Davidsen) kindly suggested
  23. that I submit it for posting, as well.

  25. Wed 7-Feb-90: Update tsgmeb12.arc. The update contains a simple
  26. new game where you have to re-arrange the numbers 1-9 back in order
  27. by reversing a given number of digits counted from the beginning of
  28. the string. There is nothing novel in this, rather the contrary,
  29. because this is one of the basic early simple computer games. One
  30. reason for programming this game was that it involves some
  31. programming routines, which I will need later.

  33. Tue 2-Jan-90: Released a new game with an educational / problem
  34. solving flavor for those of you who like to play games with the
  35. computer. The game is called witpin. It is a kind of solitaire
  36. draughts. Witpin.exe is part of the updated tsgmeb11.arc package.

  38. Mon 8-May-89: tsgmeb10.arc is now available containing typevade.exe,
  39. a game for learning fast typing.
