Similar to the undocumented DOS 4.01 command TRUENAME, which takes an
optional filespec as a parameter and returns the real filename or path
name to stdout. It can see through ASSIGN, JOIN, SUBST, etc.
TRUE.COM does require a parameter, unlike TRUENAME. If you want the true
name of the current drive, enter the command "TRUE \".
To check the names of other drives, you must specify a path. Example:
TRUE W:\FINAL
TRUE W:.
Using the dot (".") in the second example specifies the current
directory on that drive.
