HyperRez: Showing knowledge <sum09 1 7>
============================
Knowledge is information having structures or relationships that
become obvious to the reader. What structures are obvious to
others <link43 1 12>? Consider:
Structure What the structure not easily understood
========= ========================================
-- List People can't remember eight items in a list.
-- Loop People can't remember six element rings.
-- Array I can't get a 3 by 3 table into your mind.
-- Dual path Getting from A to B in five ways is too complex.
-- Superset Can you understand six overlapping commonalities?
I believe five element hierarchies are the best structure because:
-- Two element hierarchies seem too didactic (black and white)
-- Three and four element hierarchies seem too symmetrical
-- Six or more elements are too many items to remember
For that reason, I use my language skills to present information using
topics with five (5) subtopics, making sure these topics appear complete,
parallel and in the right sequence <link32 2>.
