MORGAN & FANTASTE! FONTS
What You Should Know
The two fonts in this font file, Fantaste! and Morgan, were both uploaded to
the Macintosh forum on CompuServe by Eric Baldwin. Eric himself created
"Fantaste!", and "Morgan" was created by John Morgan. If you should wish to
send Eric an Easyplex, his User ID is 73317,2043. He has graciously given me
permission to share his fonts with users of the Software Publishing forum on
CompuServe.
Both fonts are "picture fonts" like Cairo. That is, each keystroke gives you
a picture instead of a letter or number. Both fonts are filled with "fantasy"
pictures. "Morgan" is a font of Dungeons and Dragons symbols, especially
monsters. "Fantaste!" includes a lot of other nice fantasy symbols, such as
castles, knights, etc.
There are two MAC format files included in this ARC file, which serve as
"keys" to the two fonts. The file FANTASTE.MAC was done by Eric himself, as a
key to that font. It was originally a Macpaint file, and converted very
nicely to First Publisher MAC file format. The other file, MORGAN.MAC, is one
I did myself for my own reference in using the font. Note that in the font
MORGAN, not every key is implemented. Either of these two files can be read
into First Publisher by using "Get graphics" from the file menu.
I hope you enjoy these two special fonts as much as I do!
