=====VGA:MISSLE COMMAND======
BY JIM STORCH
JUN 90
THIS GAME REQUIRES A VGA CARD AND A MOUSE.
I DESIGNED IT FOR A THREE BUTTON GENIUS MOUSE, SO IF
YOU HAVE A TWO BUTTON MOUSE YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO FIRE FROM THE CENTER
BASE. REMEMBER TO LOAD YOU MOUSE DRIVER PRIOR TO RUNNING "MC.EXE".
BASICALLY, THIS STARTED OUT AS AN EXPERIMENT IN PROGRAMMING. THE
CODING WAS DONE IN TURBO-C ON A 286 AT 10MHZ. IT TOOK ME ABOUT SIX
DAYS ON A US NAVY FRIGATE IN THE WESTERN PACIFIC.
THE GAME RESETS AFTER ALL FOUR CITIES HAVE BEEN NUKED.
EACH BASE IS CONTROLLED BY A DIFFERENT MOUSE BUTTON.
IF A BASE GETS HITS YOU CAN NO LONGER FIRE FROM IT.
THERE IS NO LIMIT ON DEFENSE MISSLES, EXCEPT EACH BASE CAN ONLY
HAVE ONE BIRD IN THE AIR AT TIME.
AS THE SKILL INCREASES THE INCOMING MISSLES REALLY HEAT UP.
PLAY IS VERY SIMPLE, REMEMBER TO LEAD 'EM.
I PLAN ON MODIFYING IT FOR PLAY WITH AN EGA AND TWO BUTTON MOUSE
AND A CLEANER PROGRAM TERMINATION WHEN I GET AROUND TO IT.
