  2.   SCOUT 5.0  -  10-05-90  (both SCOUT & SCOUT-EM)

  4.   - Recoded the directory tree function to bring it into consonance with
  5.     the method used by ArcMaster.  SCOUT now uses one directory in which
  6.     to maintain the catalog files, named NEW-WARE.X where X is the drive
  7.     letter.  The default is C:\LOG, but can be defined by the user by
  8.     entering the command line parameter "l c:\mydir" when SCOUT is
  9.     loaded.  If the catalog file path is invalid, SCOUT will rescan each
  10.     drive it accesses to rebuild the tree.

  12.   - The root directory is now included in the tree.  Ctrl-Home is not
  13.     necessary to change to root while in the tree.
  14.  
  15.   - The number of directories supported in the tree has increased from
  16.     180 to 250.  SCOUT will support a tree with a depth of 8 with
  17.     directory names up to 8 characters in length.
  18.  
  19.   - Fixed problem with drive space calculations on drive partitions
  20.     larger than 32 meg (DOS 4.x, usually).
