Command Line Version - MyHelp
===============================================
Introduction
MyHelp is an easy to use helper designed to
provide you, the user with the Purpose, Syntax,
Comments, Notes, and Examples of all the MS-DOS
3.3 commands right on your PC.
Installation
Installation is copying the file "myhelp.exe"
to any directory that is in your PATH, like:
copy a:\myhelp.exe c:\doc
To Run the Program
Running the program is very simple. Type
"myhelp" at the DOS prompt as follows:
C:\> myhelp
A pop-up will appear where you select the
command you are interested in viewing. Press
RETURN, or if you're using a mouse press the
left button twice.
Another pop-up will appear with the
information concerning the topic you selected.
In some instances, you will notice a word
either highlighted in blue or text in red. These
are cross-references to other commands that
pertain to the one you have selected. By using
your arrows, or mouse, you may jump directly
to the next command.
Pressing ALT F1 you return you to the prior
command you were viewing.
Pressing ESC or the right button if you
are using a mouse to EXIT the program.
TSR Version - MyHelp2
===============================================
The TSR version functions the same as the
Command Line version once it is invoked using
the hotkeys Ctrl-LeftShift-H.
Installation
Copy the executable, MyHelp2.exe, and help
file, MyHelp2.hlp to your DOS directory and
then enter the following:
MyHelp2 c:\dos\myhelp2.hlp
The full pathname is need for the help file
because it is not loaded into memory with the
program.
To Unload the TSR from memory select
"Unload TSR" with the mouse or arrow keys.
