  1. Command Line Version - MyHelp
  2. ===============================================
  3. Introduction
  4.  
  5.     MyHelp is an easy to use helper designed to
  6. provide you, the user with the Purpose, Syntax,
  7. Comments, Notes, and Examples of all the MS-DOS
  8. 3.3 commands right on your PC.
  9.  
  10. Installation
  11.  
  12.     Installation is copying the file "myhelp.exe"
  13. to any directory that is in your PATH, like:
  14.  
  15.            copy a:\myhelp.exe c:\doc
  16.  
  17. To Run the Program
  18.  
  19.     Running the program is very simple. Type
  20. "myhelp" at the DOS prompt as follows:
  21.  
  22.            C:\> myhelp
  23.  
  24.     A pop-up will appear where you select the
  25. command you are interested in viewing. Press
  26. RETURN, or if you're using a mouse press the
  27. left button twice.
  28.     Another pop-up will appear with the
  29. information concerning the topic you selected.
  30.     In some instances, you will notice a word
  31. either highlighted in blue or text in red. These
  32. are cross-references to other commands that
  33. pertain to the one you have selected. By using
  34. your arrows, or mouse, you may jump directly
  35. to the next command.
  36.     Pressing ALT F1 you return you to the prior
  37. command you were viewing.
  38.     Pressing ESC or the right button if you
  39. are using a mouse to EXIT the program.

  43. TSR Version - MyHelp2
  44. ===============================================
  45.     The TSR version functions the same as the
  46. Command Line version once it is invoked using
  47. the hotkeys Ctrl-LeftShift-H.
  48.  
  49. Installation
  50.     Copy the executable, MyHelp2.exe, and help
  51. file, MyHelp2.hlp to your DOS directory and
  52. then enter the following:

  54.     MyHelp2 c:\dos\myhelp2.hlp
  55.  
  56.     The full pathname is need for the help file
  57. because it is not loaded into memory with the
  58. program.

  61.     To Unload the TSR from memory select
  62. "Unload TSR" with the mouse or arrow keys.
