╚═══════════════════════════╝
Script and Files for easy reading of BOYAN 5.0 docs. Gives rapid
retrieval of any chapter via single character selection from menu.
Separate access to Table of User Variables and Macro Commands.
Comes with TurboType [ (c) 1990 COMPUTE! magazine ] or use the
viewer you already have in Boyan. Pops up quickly, and vanishes
just as fast when finished. Now you can check a point in the docs,
even while online.

READTHIS.TXT These instructions. (Keep for reference)
The final step is to set up the macro command on a key, so that
access is quick. Of course, to check out, you can enter a manual
macro ALT-M then enter macro below, + <CR> will run it. You could
also use ALT-R, Run a Script, then enter BOYDOC <CR> to try out
the mono version, or enter BOYDOC;COL <CR> for color.
The full hot key or ALT-M macro (mono) is : \GS[BOYDOC]
The full hot key or ALT-M macro (color) is : \GS[BOYDOC;COL]
You may set this up on the current CTRL-F1 macro for reading
Boyan docs, or use another key available. Of course, you may leave
the original docs in place for reference, but all the same material
is still there, just in recast form.
If you wish to use the viewer/lister program you already have
in place, go to the very end of BOYDOC.BSC, and look for third line
from end, which is:
\DC-[t %B:BD%V0] the "t" for TurboType. Change it to:
\DC-[%LC %B:BD%V0] which will use listing/viewing program
%LC, which would be whatever you have configured in Boyan. I personally
use LIST as viewer in Boyan, but found TurboType to be faster in this
case, as well as 10K vs. 50K file size. Better to use TurboType, unless
you just *can't stand* mono display, then it's your choice.

║ OPERATION ║
╚═══════════╝
When the script runs, you are presented with a menu, asking you
which section of the docs to view. Enter the letter signifying your
choice, and you're taken right to that section. No more wading thru
a 400K+ file to find what you want. When finished, just hit <SPACE>,
and BOYDOC splits the scene rather quickly.

I hope this script proves useful. I'll be happy to receive reports,
good or otherwise, and will try to fix any bugs found. Many thanks to
Lee Breeden for his advice and suggestions on scripts, and to Justin
Boyan for such a versatile script language, and fine comm program.
