  5.          The  possibilities  to what  you can do  with your stones is 
  6.          only limited by your imagination.

  8.          My three sons and I enjoy working with rocks. Even though my
  9.          youngest is only 2 years old  and loves to throw the stones,
  10.          he goes with us  on field trips and proudly presents us with
  11.          the treasures he picks up. 
  12.  
  13.          My  oldest is almost 10 years old and prefers to  tumble his 
  14.          specimens. He is  quite an  expert on  creating  unique  and 
  15.          beautiful  jewelry out of his stones.  His Christmas present
  16.          are always a success.

  18.          My six year old  brought home a thunder egg  from one of our
  19.          excursions.  He wanted it to be a vase.  So we flattened the 
  20.          bottom,  hollowed out the  top and viola,  he  had his vase.
  21.          Decorated  with some  artificial green,  we still display it 
  22.          proudly in our living room.

  24.          Small,  broken  off  pieces from larger  stones we keep  and
  25.          tumble. We  use these little sparkling gems to create
  26.          beautiful mosaics.

  28.          Using  hand held  rotary tools,  you can carve larger stones 
  29.          into wonderful pieces of art. Cut your name out of stone and
  30.          you have a nameplate like nobody else at the office.

  32.          Put some  interesting  looking, unfinished  specimen  around
  33.          your house.  They are  sure to serve as  unique conversation
  34.          pieces.  Use them as book ends, paper weights, door stoppers 
  35.          or whatever else your creativity can think of.

  37.          Create a piece of nature. Glue a stone to a wooden base, use
  38.          some artificial green, a flower, a plastic bird and you have
  39.          a centerpiece for the dinner table.

  41.          A hobby is a lifelong journey of discovery and learning. Our
  42.          whole family is involved in lapidary. It does not matter how
  43.          old or  experienced  you are.  The beauty  of it is, we as a 
  44.          family do something together that all of us enjoy. Once your 
  45.          interest is  awoken in  something and you get  involved, you 
  46.          experience satisfaction and pleasure in return.
