  3. NOVELL'S IPX ROUTER DEVELOPERS GUIDE document (June 16, 1992 - Rev. A) is 
  4. provided within this compressed file.  The document is provided as a single 
  5. "Postscript" printer file.

  7. The following is a short description of the documents contents:

  9. CHAPTER 1:  Provides an introduction to the NetWare environment and the 
  10. protocols involved in NetWare routing.
  11.  
  12. CHAPTER 2: Describes the Internetwork Packet Exchange (IPX) protocol and
  13. provides guidelines for implementing IPX in a router.
  14.  
  15. CHAPTER 3: Describes the Routing Information Protocol (RIP).
  16.  
  17. CHAPTER 4: Describes the Service Advertising Protocol (SAP).
  18.  
  19. CHAPTER 5: Describes the special IPX Type 20 packet and provides guidelines
  20. for the handling of these packets as required by an IPX router.
  21.  
  22. APPENDIX A: Describes RIP and SAP bandwidth requirements.
