  1.      The AJAX disk contains 4 versions of AJAX: CGA, Hercules, TANDY and EGA.

  3. EGA is for computers with an EGA card and requires a slightly faster processor
  4. to play the game without it slowing down. If you run it and it is to slow on
  5. your machine run, the CGA instead, it has less colors but runs faster.
  6.  
  7. CGA is for computers with the CGA card or a Hercules compatable graphics card.
  8. It runs fast on even the slowest machine. You may have to run an EGA emulation
  9. program if you run CGA on an EGA card.

  11. Hercules is for Hercules compatable graphics card.
  12.  
  13. TANDY is for computers that have the special TANDY 16 color graphics mode.
  14. Most PCs made by TANDY/Radio Shack support this mode. This mode while
  15. giving 16 colors requires a lot of memory and a fast processor. If the
  16. game runs slow, or not at all, run the CGA version.

  18. To run the version of the game you wish to run:
  19.     1) Change the prompt to the drive that the program disk is in.
  20.         example:  A> if the disk is in drive a:
  21.     2) Type AJAX and hit enter
  22.         example   A>AJAX
  23.     3) A menu will appear with all the video modes mode the arrow keys to
  24.        select the mode you wish to run.

  27. Note: you will receive a bonus ship at 5000 & 15000 points

  29. This program is also compatible with the soon to be released Atari joystick
  30. adapter for PCs.
