  2. Microsoft and Logitech BUS Mouse
  3.  
  4. We have been advised the I/O address (Port) range for the Microsoft BUS 
  5. Mouse is 220-24F.  An example configuration for VMOSCONF of such a mouse 
  6. using IRQ 5 would be:

  8. Configure Port Create MOUS 220 24F Mouse
  9. Configure VDD Create MM Mouse
  10. Configure Port Up MOUS
  11. Configure IRQ Up IRQ5
  12. Configure Port Attach MOUS MM
  13. Configure IRQ Attach IRQ5 MM
  14. Configure VDD Mode MM fOreground
  15. Configure VDD Up MM

  17. The Logitech BUS Mouse is similar.  Its I/O (Port) range is 23C to 23F.  An 
  18. example configuration using IRQ3 would be:

  22. Configure Port Up MOUS
  23. Configure IRQ Up IRQ3

  29. Note that the IRQ assigned must not be used by any other resource.  Some 
  30. common IRQ assignments follow.  If you have the indicated resource in your 
  31. 386, then the associated IRQ is UNAVAILABLE.  Any IRQs not listed in the chart 
  32. below are commonly unavailable.

  44. IRQ2 is used as the expansion interrupt on AT BUS systems.  Some components do 
  45. use IRQ2, however.  These are commonly LAN adapters.  For these, Vmos/3 maps
  46. IRQ2 to IRQ9.  If you have to select IRQ2 on an adapter, define it as IRQ9 
  47. under Vmos/3.  See TAN003 for more information.
