Fire King: Demon Stalkers ][
Cracked by: R. Bubba Magillicutty
Graphics: CGA/EGA
Sound: IBM internal honker
Controls: Keyboard/Joystick
Protection:Doc check between levels - 5 minutes to fix, 1 hour to get there.
Installation:
Just unzip this to any directory on the hard drive (\FIREKING probably
isn't a good idea though) and run the install program. It'll unzip
everything for you.
Notes:
This thing locks up in EGA mode for me unless I use the /I parameter. If
it freezes up after you pick a character and try to start the game, use the /I.
Also, a /? will list the other command line parameters.
I was at least halfway through level 2 when it deleted my saved game. It
was either forgetting the /I or trying to change my hit points in the save; I'm
not sure which. So I was never able to finish level 2 to see if there was more
protection between 1 and 2. If so, there's a really good chance that the crack
will remove it anyway. But if not, send me a saved game right before the 2nd
doc check and I'll remove it and any others. As always, enjoy the game if
you really want to.
