OK, here are the docs for Kings Bounty, not the complete docs, but more than
enough for you to play and win the game... It is pretty easy, but for each
character, all of the treasures, etc are switched around... The graphics are
pretty good, but the sound is lacking (no Adlib, Roland, or Sound Blaster
support.) Enjoy...
Initial choices of class are as follows: A - Knight, B - Paladin, C - Sorceress,
D - Barbarian.
Character Classes:
The KNIGHT starts with the best troops of the classes, and his leadership is
matched only by the barbarian. He also has a very good commission per week and
starting gold. On the down side, he has limited spell ability, and is slow to
advance.
The PALADIN has ok leadership, and beginning troops are good, but not as
strong as those of the Knight. He starts with good gold and weekly commision,
and has more magical skills than those of the Knight, though he still needs
initial training before he can use magic. His drawbacks are in Leadership,
and advancement.
The SORCERESS has the weekest leadership of the four classes, and her initial
troops are the weakest, she has the advantage of magic, and the most initial
cash, and weekly commission, though it peaks out lower than the other classes.
Level advancement is second only to the Barbarian.
The BARBARIAN has leadership equal to the Knight, starting troops are very
good. Their starting gold is the lowest, but the best per week commission.
They also have the fastest advancement. They have the worst of the magical
potential though.

COMBAT
There are two types of combat, field, and castle. When you attack the castle
you need seige weapons, which can be bought in towns, to breach the walls. In

and if there is an S# that is your shooting range. The commands for combat
are:
G - Give Up Combat - Disbands all troops under your control, it is mainly used
when you know you cannot win and you don't wanna loose points and time.
<Space> - Pass - Do nothing that round for those troops.
S - Shoot if you have shooting weapons such as bows. Return to fire.

The sceptre is burried in the exact center of the Puzzle map, and can only be
burried in a grassy square.

Adventure Spells:
Bridge - Is used so you can travel over water, two squares are bridged by
the spell, and multiple spells can be used with each other.

currently held by the player.
Castle Gate - Allows the player with troops to go to a castle he has been

Town Gate - Same as above, but to a previously visited town.

OK, that is most of it, here are some other things that you need to know,
Towns are usually near a castle, and there you can rent or dismiss a boat,
get a new contract, and find out the troops and owner of a near castle. I
found that using a boat is by far the best way to get around, unless you can
get flying creatures. The game is pretty easy and strait forward, you move
on and off the boat by just moving on it, the arrow keys move you around, as
you should know. The game theme is you are a bounty hunter out to make some
bucks and save the kingdom. Some ursurpers have stolen the sceptre and hidden
it somewhere one one of the four continents. You must find the pieces of the
puzzle and get it back in order to win... You get a piece of the puzzle for
each artifact and Villain captured (25 pieces total) though all pieces are
not needed in order to find the place where it is hidden. Tha is about it,
enjoy...
The VIKING - NYC
Oh, and I should have the character editor for it within a couple of days, so
hang in there if yer stuck, you should be able to modify most everything...
