Jim Woodring is a surrealist artist and writer who puts out his own magazine. I liked his drawings so much I asked him to illustrate an article for WER. Strange juxtapositions of animals and objects in eerie environments skillfully illustrate the poetry in Jim‚Äôs head. My own dreams seem boring in comparison.

  28. Fantagraphics books ≈∏, publishers of Love and Rockets and many other quality comics, have just started publishing JIM. I would still recommend contacting Jim directly to see what back issues of the xeroxed JIM and other booklets he has available.
