  1. The TEST subdirectory contains a DS201 basic test program, used to verify
  2. functionality of the DS201 or DS201A units. To use the program, type:
  3. TEST.

  5. If DS201A adapter is present, the test program should normally display the
  6. following text:

  8. LWDIGI V1.20 reports:
  9.  - DS201-A is present
  10.  - Three-tone generator is supported
  11.  - LPC mode is supported
  12.  - Extended PCM mode is supported
  13.  - ADPCM mode is supported
  14.  - Callback is supported
  15.  
  16. If DS201 is present, the printout will look like:

  19.  - Three-tone generator is supported
  20.  - Callback is supported

  22. If the DS201A (or DS201) unit is functional, the speech should be heard from
  23. the DS201A (DS201). Part of the test program is speech recording test. During
  24. this test you will be requested to connect a microphone to the DS201A (DS201)
  25. and start speaking for about 3 seconds after pressing ENTER key. If recording
  26. function the DS201A (DS201) is working properly, you should hear back the
  27. 3-seconds long recorded message.
