  9. "DEZKTOP" DeZkTop is a program launcher for Windows 3.1, Windows NT and
  10. Windows 95, and you can
  11. also use it as the Windows shell.  So what does all this mean?  Well a
  12. program launcher is a
  13. program that you use to run other programs.  The best known program launcher
  14. is Program
  15. Manager which comes with every copy of Windows.  Program launchers don't
  16. actually have to
  17. do much, they should allow you to run the programs you want quickly and
  18. easily, and they
  19. should keep out of the way until they are needed.  DeZkTop is designed to do
  20. just this.

  22. To start DeZkTop just run dezktop.exe.  It will appear that nothing happens,
  23. but if you now
  24. right click on the desktop (ie the Windows background) then the DeZkTop menu
  25. window will
  26. pop up.  You will also find that you can drag a file out of File Manager and
  27. drop it on the
  28. desktop where it will appear as a floating icon.  You can click on the icon
  29. to run the program or
  30. data file.  You can change the menu windows by dragging files in and out of
  31. them, and you
  32. can define hot-keys and set apps to auto-size on startup.  For further

  34. dezktop.hlp, or choose "About" from a menu window system menu and then click
  35. the "Help"
