NOTE : This is a GameHack table and REQUIRES the REGISTERED version of GameHack, the premium game-hacking application. Go to www.gamehack.com to download the latest version and then register it using your credit card online or send in a check or money order to the address you find at the site. GREETINGS :
Welcome to my first in a series of GameHack tables I will be making for the compilation of games, The Ultima Collection. Tables for Ultimas 2-6 will be made availble as soon as I have time to hack 'em because I am pretty busy coding a game of my own right now. I decided against hacking Ultima 7 and 8 because they have built in cheats that can do more things than I would be able to do with GameHack. You can find the new tables for the other games when available at DIRTY LITTLE HELPER CHEAT COMPENDIUM (www.dlh.net) and at the ADRENALINE VAULT (www.avault.com). Both these places are the most comprehensive cheat sites I know on the net, so go and visit them.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE :
1. Load up the MoSlo version of Ultima I (or just Ultima I if you have a computer from the Dark Ages) through Windows 95 / 98.
2. ALT-TAB out of the game when you get to the actual gameplay (when you can move around your little Player Character with the arrow keys).
3. Load up you REGISTERED version of GameHack.
4. Pick the PROCESSES button (looks like gears).
5. Scroll down the list of processes until you find MOSLO-ULTIMA I or ULTIMA I depending on what version your playing, and click it then click OKAY.
6. Next click the LOAD button and choose the directory where ULTIMA1-GH.GH resides and double-click it.
7. Some address descriptions will appear in the lower box. Change the values to what you want and click the FREEZE BOX and that will hold those values constant in memory.
There so easy a baby could do it. I didn't mean to insult your intelligence with these simplistic instuctions, as if you have used GameHack before (especially if you make tables yourself) you know what to do. But maybe there is 1 person that had no clue how to use GameHack :)
TIPS FOR USE :
This version of the Ultima I GameHack Table let you modify these values :
FOOD
GOLD
HIT POINTS
I suggest you modify the values as follows :
FOOD - 9999
GOLD - 9999
HIT POINTS - 9999
Don't go over 9999 on these codes as the game MAY crash. These are more than enough anyways so just satick with it.
COMING SOON :
Values for statistics such as Strength and Wisdom will be in the next release of the Ultima I GameHack Table. That's about all there is to modify in the game as far as numeric values goes so that will be the final version.
