  1.               RULES OF ENGAGEMENT 2 - THE ASGARD GROUP CAMPAIGN

  3. This is the first (introductory) campaign of a trilogy taking place in the 
  4. Asgard Stellar Group.  Colonists from the Local Group, and a supporting fleet
  5. of warships, used the booster at Icharr to make a one-way hyperjump.  The
  6. maximum number of warships, given the political and military conditions in 
  7. the Local Group, have been dispatched to form the Asgard Fleet.  Do not 
  8. expect any further military reinforcements; they will have to be produced
  9. locally.

  11. To load the campaign:

  13. Copy the THE_ASGA.CMP file to your \campaign subdirectory.
  14. Copy the AG*.GIF files to your \graphics subdirectory.
  15. Copy the XFER2.* files to your \data subdirectory.
  16. The ROE2TBL.TXT file is an ASCII version of a player's aid that I developed 
  17. for my own use.  I hope you find it useful.
  18. The FWAGSHPS.TXT & ENAGSHPS.TXT files are lists of Federated Worlds and
  19. Enemy ships respectively.
  20. The XFER2 files will only append to your existing files. You should not have 
  21. any duplications to delete (I've done that for you).

  23. This campaign was created under version 1.05 of Rules of Engagement 2. I have 
  24. not, as yet, created any interlocks to the Breech 2 system because I do not 
  25. own a copy. I plan to wait and purchase Breach 3.  I hope that you will 
  26. excuse the delay. I would appreciate any feedback/suggestions/comments, 
  27. as I would like to "fine tune" this campaign before embarking on the rest.

  29. One final word.  Many thanks to the folks at Omnitrend.  Designing a campaign
  30. is as much fun as playing one.  It just goes to show that you can have your 
  31. cake and eat it too.
