DISCLAIMER
The software disks sold by Bytes and Bullets are not copy
protected. You may make as many backup copies as you wish.
Indeed, you are encouraged to make backup copies from which you
will use the software, and to safely save the original disk.
Bytes and Bullets warrants that DataPlot2.1 software will
operate substantially as specified in the Help File included
on this disk for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase,
as evidenced by a copy of your purchase receipt. If the
software malfunctions in a documented, repeatable fashion within
90 days of purchase, Bytes and Bullets will make a reasonable
effort to correct the error, provided that a copy of your
purchase receipt and the original disk is received at Bytes and
Bullets within 100 days of purchase.
The software is provided without any warranty, except as stated
above. The software is NOT warranted to be error-free.
Under no circumstances will Bytes and Bullets be liable to you
for damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or losses
due to inaccurate representation of data.
This version of DataPlot is free, so there is absolutely no
warranty.
THE DEMONSTRATION
Double click on the large DataPlot2.1 icon and soon a small
window will open in the center of your WorkBench screen. After
checking for the proper files, the small window will close and a
custom screen will open.
DataPlot2.1 will then be ready for your commands. A
demonstration macro has been prepared to show you the power of
DataPlot2.1. To run the demonstration, use the mouse to select
Execute Macro in the left most drop down mouse menu. A filename
requester window will appear. Type .demo to complete the
filename, which should be "macro.demo", press return, and then
look and listen. (You could also press F8 and then use the file
requester to select macro.demo from the DataPlot disk.
DataPlot2.1 will speak to you, so have the volume turned up
enough to hear it.
The full instructions for using DataPlot2.1 are in the
DataPlot.help file. Pressing the Help key from DataPlot2.1 will
cause it to be shown to you. It is an ASCII text file, so you
can print it, or read it with a word processor. The default
tool for DataPlot.help is SYS:Utilities/More, so that you can
just click on it and More will display it.
The source code consists of 8000 lines (more than 204,000 bytes)
in AmigaBASIC as extended by Absoft for their AC/BASIC compiler.
It is available for the low price of $12, postpaid.
Sincerely,
Dale Holt
