  1. This is disk 334 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  2. Below is a listing of the significant directories and their contents.

  5. FBM        An Amiga port of the Fuzzy PixMap image manipulation
  6.         library.  This package allows manipulation and conversion
  7.         of a variety of color and B&W image formats.  Supported
  8.         formats include Sun rasterfiles, GIF, IFF, PCX, PBM
  9.         bitmaps, "face" files, and FBM files.  Also has input
  10.         converters for raw images, like DigiView files, and
  11.         output converters for PostScript and Diablo graphics.
  12.         Besides doing format conversion, some of the other image
  13.         manipulation operations supported include rectangular
  14.         extraction, density and contrast changes, rotation,
  15.         quantization, halftone grayscaling, edge sharpening, 
  16.         and histograms.  Version 0.9, binary only.

  19. PPMore        A "more" replacement program that reads normal ascii text
  20.         files as well as files crunched with PowerPacker.  The
  21.         crunched files can result in consider disk space savings.

  25. PPShow        A "show" program for normal IFF ILBM files or ILBM files
  26.         crunched with PowerPacker.  The decrunching is done auto-
  27.         matically as the file is read.  Version 1.0, binary only.

  30. WhatIs        A neat little utility which not only recognizes a wide
  31.         variety of file types (executables, IFF, icons, zoo files,
  32.         etc), but prints interesting information about the structure
  33.         or contents of the recognized file types.  Version 1.2a,
