List of player related changes from 1.3w to 1.32w:
=================================================
*Weather now pays attention to land masses. It will slow down as it increases
in altitude, and speed up as it decreases in altitude
*Serial handling is patched so that it always, definately, for sure, resets
a modem to 2400 baud after a disconnect, no matter what the cause.
*When the "compressed" or "!" options are given to MAP, it no longer leaves
those annoying spaces between the top and bottom lines of numbers and
the actual map sectors
News was patched so that it no longers dumps the system if someone breaks out
of reading the newspaper and then later does something that needs to
write to that days news file.
*Numerous text messages were moved around or redone so that the messages are
either in the right place or are more intelligable.
*It no longer displays your name on every line in the NAT command for
relations. You know who you are, so it apropriately say's "you".
*Numerous places were fixed to now generate "suicide" news items and correctly
kill off your country. It will now correctly mark your country dead if
you load the last of the population into airplanes, and it will also
correctly mark you as alive again if even one plane should happen to
land safely in an unoccupied sector.
*Numerous "sunk ship" news items were added, so that it will always generate
some news when a ship other than a sub is sunk.
*A couple of "sunk ship" news items were removed for sunken subs, and it will
now send a telegram to the owner of a sub that torps another sub or
ship in self defense. This happened for normal ships before, but was
overlooked for subs.
*When a destroyer sinks a sub in self defense, a telegram is now generated
and the destroyer owner has a 50/50 chance of identifying the owner
of the sub by the wreckage, just like the active DROP command.
*The MESSAGE command will now tell the maximum number of characters allowed
for the message to the system owners terminal
*The load and unload commands once again no longer allow freighters to load
up a limited number of military. I never got around to adding it into
the other parts of the game, and the results were unpredictable.
*The load command will now generate a message or telegram if all the civilians
and military are loaded into a ship.
*All file displays that use the standard file printing routine will now
pause at 23 lines and allow you to Quit the file (same as CTRL-C),
continue non-stop (no more prompts at 23 lines), or see another 23
lines. This helps to correct not being allowed to pause the output,
and was suggested by a registered user.
List of player related changes from 1.2w to 1.3w:
=================================================
*System owner can now allow allow public messages if he/she/it chooses
*You can now reply automatically after reading a telegram
*You can't send a telegram to yourself
*You can now read a telegram again before moving to the next one (if any)
*Telegrams may be aborted by typing CTRL-C. You will still be able to
read the message again or reply
*Some system owners may not allow you to change countries without logging
off. This gives other players a chance to connect while you are
redialing.
List of player related changes from 1.1w to 1.2w:
=================================================

a fleet if it is for sale

*Cost of a refurb is now based on a ship's original cost
*You can now use the tech level when indicating a range of ships:
SHI ?tl=50 -or- SHI ?tl>60&eff>50 etc. now work.
Inactive players can only execute certain commands
*Other boat types can launch planes (from catapults), but planes can only
land on carriers or land (there really were boats like this in WWII)
Submarine is now correctly immune to bad weather (except for radar)
Contracts removed for a sector that has been taken over
*There is now only a 50% chance of identifying a sub after blowing it up
If a sector is destroyed by weather, contracts are removed
*When dissolving your govt. there is a chance some sectors will not get
the plague, and to get it at all you must have a TL of at least 35
*Some ships may mutiny rather than blowing themselves up during a dissolve
*REPO output cleaned up. Ships for sale now have items in neat columns,
and land sectors print 3 items to a line.
