  5.    Well,  there isn't really that much to say about SnowFall. I cooked it up
  6. one day I felt I missed some snow, and along the way, I put in some  options
  7. for  whoever might want to use them. Basically, SnowFall loads a picture, by
  8. default "SnowPic", and lets snowflakes fall down through anything of color 0
  9. to land on anything else, tumbling down slopes if possible to make the heaps
  10. more realistic. On request from a shopkeeper who'd like to  use  it  in  his
  11. display  window,  I  made it redraw the original picture onse in a while, by
  12. default every 10000 moves of the snowflakes. Just for fun, I  also  made  it
  13. possible to make a wind blow.

  15.    To  start  SnowFall,  either duobleclick its icon or start it from CLI by
  16. simply typing SnowFall. The command line options are these:

  18.    -p[filename]     Load this file as the picture (must be an ILBM file).
  19.    -t[number]    Refresh  the  picture  every  time number moves  have  been
  20.                  done.  SnowFall simply keeps  a  copy  of  the  picture  on
  21.          another  screen, blitting it up when needed. A number of -1
  22.          means no refreshing will be done.
  23.    -w[windforce] Let the wind blow with this force. For every  8  windforce,
  24.          the snowflakes will move 1 pixel more  sideways  per  move.
  25.          High windforces gives pretty bad results.
  26.         
  27.    As usual, I provide the program 'as is', taking no responsibility at  all
  28. for what it might do to your computer and so on. Don't send me any money for

  40. bug, it's a feature!
