  1. This is disk 303 of the freely distributable AMIGA software library.
  2. Below is a listing of the significant directories and their contents.
  3. All of this material was submitted on disk directly by the author,

  6. CPM        A program to compute mandelbrots via the Continous
  7.         Potential Method, as described in the book "The Science
  8.         of Fractal Images" by H. O. Pietgen and D. Saupe.  It is
  9.         used to make 3-dimensional pictures of the mandelbrot
  10.         set.  This is a batch mode type program so several images
  11.         can be generated, one after the other, without any human
  12.         interaction.  Includes source.

  14.  
  15. DEM        A program to compute mandelbrots via the Distance Estimator
  16.         Method, as described in the book "The Science of Fractal
  17.         Images" by H. O. Pietgen and D. Saupe.  It is used to make
  18.         high resolution black-and-white images.  This is a batch
  19.         mode type program so several images can be generated, one
  20.         after the other, without any human interaction.  Includes
  21.         source.

  24. Demon        This program implements the Demons cellular automaton as
  25.         described in the August, 1989, issue of Scientific American.
  26.         Using extremely simple rules it exhibits rather complex 
  27.         behaviour.  Includes source.

  30. FixIcons    A program to scan through all files in a given volume or
  31.         directory, looking for project icons and changing their
  32.         default tools according to instructions given in a script
  33.         file.  Version 1.2, includes source.

  36. IceFrac        A fractal generator using the Diffusion Limited Aggregation
  37.         algorithm, as described in the book "The Beauty of Fractal
  38.         Images".  This is version 2.1 and includes source.

  42.         This one zeroes in on your mouse pointer.  Binary only.

  45. ScreenZap    A utility that forcibly removes screens and windows from
  46.         your system.  Useful to get rid of zombie screens or windows
  47.         that have been left around by aborted or buggy programs.
