  1. COST CENTRES WINDOW:

  3. Use this window to describe account control centres to which
  4. costings are assigned. Costing centres are areas of account activity.
  5.  
  6. EXAMPLES:

  10. Telephone
  11. Electricity

  14. The cost centres take into consideration income and expenditure. For
  15. example you could define a cost centre (account control?) called
  16. 'STOCK' and allocate all stock purchases and sales to it. Far handier
  17. than 'STOCK PURCHASES' & 'SALES'!

  19. Although PENNYWISE makes it easy to re-edit items or enter new items, a
  20. little planning is advised to identify these cost centres before you begin.

  22. NOTE: Although you may enter an amount brought forward from the previou
  23.     previous period, Pennywise will only show the results for the
  24.     current period. In other words, 'Amounts brought forward' are 
  25.     ignored in calculations.
