The file ovlt.init is a script file you can edit. If you call
it vlt.init, rather than ovlt.init, and if you store it either in s: or
in the current directory, it will be executed just after the binary
file VTPrefs.dat is read in. VTPrefs.dat is the file that is created
when you issue the Save Configuration command from the first VLT menu.
It contains essentially (but not necessarily) the same information as
vlt.init, but once you have things set up using vlt.init, use
VTPrefs.dat because it is faster.
TekPrefs.dat is a binary file that contains the configuration of the
Tektronix (tm) part of the terminal emulator. It is created using the
Save gadget from the Tektronix Preferences requester.
These files should be stored in s:. See manual for details.
