  21.    While the first part was not a shar, these two parts are.. sorry for any
  22. inconvenience -- Pat.
  23.    Replaced the file ag3.s with a new copy from the author since the origional
  24. arc had a header error -- unarc'ed and rearc'ed the entire submission to
  25. accomplish this.
  26.    Since most of the files to this are binaries, and it was sent to us as
  27. an arc, we are posting it as such.
  28.    The documentation is burried in the arc, and Brent (who tested this) is
  29. asleep so I can't get a good description of what it does.. I'll try my best,
  30. but I'm not musically inclined in the least.

  32.    This appears to be a music editor specifically for Banjo and Guitar...
  33. in that one writes the notes on the screen and can have the computer play
  34. them.

  36.   Well, that's the extent of what I know about it.. told you all I wasn't
  37. musically inclined :-)

  46.     Are you guitar or banjer pickers?  If so, then
  47.     perhaps you are familiar with tablature notation
  48.     for stringed instruments.  If not, then you may
  49.     not want to learn now... but you might know
  50.     someone who is a picker...
  51.  
  52.     So, if you do decide you'd like to test the
  53.     program and perhaps include it in comp.binaries.amiga
  54.     please take these steps:
  55.  
  56.       -Send me a message to indicate that you've 
  57.       received all 3 parts and you're going to
  58.       brave the installation and test.
  59.  
  60.       -Edit and concatenate them to form tab.uue.
  61.  
  62.       -Uudecode into TAB.ARC.  De-arc TAB.ARC and
  63.       use README as a guide to installing the tab
  64.       editor.

  66.       -Before posting TAB.ARC publicly, please
  67.       contact me to let me know what you think
  68.       of the program, the packaging and 
  69.       distribution instructions, and any other
  70.       suggestions, comments, or wild flames.
