Article 47 of comp.binaries.amiga:
Path: fishpond!mcdsun!noao!ncar!ames!mailrus!tut.cis.ohio-state.edu!rutgers!iuvax!pur-ee!j.cc.purdue.edu!ain
From: ain@j.cc.purdue.edu (Patrick White)
Newsgroups: comp.binaries.amiga
Subject: TAB (part 2 of 3)
Keywords: TAB, part 2 of 3, guitar, banjo, tabulature, player

Approved: ain@j.cc.purdue.edu (Pat White)
Program Name: tab
Submitted By: jeff@dandelion.ci.com (Jeff deRienzo)
Summary: A guitar and Banjo tabulature editor -- plays the insturments
as well.
Poster Boy: Pat White (ain@j.cc.purdue.edu)
Tested.
NOTES:
While the first part was not a shar, these two parts are.. sorry for any
inconvenience -- Pat.
Replaced the file ag3.s with a new copy from the author since the origional
arc had a header error -- unarc'ed and rearc'ed the entire submission to
accomplish this.
Since most of the files to this are binaries, and it was sent to us as
an arc, we are posting it as such.
The documentation is burried in the arc, and Brent (who tested this) is
asleep so I can't get a good description of what it does.. I'll try my best,
but I'm not musically inclined in the least.
This appears to be a music editor specifically for Banjo and Guitar...
in that one writes the notes on the screen and can have the computer play
them.
Well, that's the extent of what I know about it.. told you all I wasn't
musically inclined :-)

========================================
Are you guitar or banjer pickers? If so, then
perhaps you are familiar with tablature notation
for stringed instruments. If not, then you may
not want to learn now... but you might know
someone who is a picker...
So, if you do decide you'd like to test the
program and perhaps include it in comp.binaries.amiga
please take these steps:
-Send me a message to indicate that you've
received all 3 parts and you're going to
brave the installation and test.
-Edit and concatenate them to form tab.uue.
-Uudecode into TAB.ARC. De-arc TAB.ARC and
use README as a guide to installing the tab
editor.
-Before posting TAB.ARC publicly, please
contact me to let me know what you think
of the program, the packaging and
distribution instructions, and any other
suggestions, comments, or wild flames.
I apologize in advance if any of this is too
time-consuming or cryptic.
