  4. You are one of the artists/bands that it finally made
  5. on "The Internet MPEG CD-Rom Version 1.0".
  6.  
  7. Slowly but surely the CD-Rom is starting to sell now
  8. (currently about 600 pieces).
  9.  
  10.          BUNDLING OF THE INTERNET MPEG CD-ROM
  11.  
  12. Finally I found another way of selling the CD-Rom,
  13. what is called bundling. I sell a bigger amount of
  14. the CD-Rom to hardware producers (like companies that
  15. are producing MPEG-cards) for a very LOW price, and
  16. they sell the CD-Rom together with their hardware
  17. to the end-user.

  19. The only thing that is really bugging me now, is the
  20. following sentence in the AUTHORIZATION FORM, that all
  21. of you sended in via e-mail or normal mail. It was:
  22.  
  23. "This authorization will be limited to a maximum amount of
  24. sold CD-Roms of 5.000 pieces."
  25.  
  26.         THAT IS STOPPING ME FROM DOING BUNDLINGS !
  27.  
  28. Bundlings are starting with a amount of 5.000 CD's
  29. and sell for a low price of about $ 3 per CD-Rom minus
  30. $ 1.5 production costs. With that bundling offer, I
  31. would get at least most of my investment back and
  32.  
  33.         YOUR MUSIC WOULD BE RECOGNIZED BY
  34.               ANOTHER FEW THOUSENDS.

  36. So what I like to ask for, is a unlimited authorization.
  37.  
  38. It will be all right this time, if you tick one of the
  39. following points and just reply this to me via e-mail.
  40.  
  41. (X) Yes, you hereby have the authorization to make a unlimited
  42.     amount of copies of my/our music, pictures and textes
  43.     stored on "The Internet MPEG CD-Rom".
  44.  
  45. ( ) No, I do not want to have any more copies done.

  49. your band and tell me what you think.

  93. I hereby authorize Frank Gadegast to use, store, recompile, produce
  94. and sell the information/pictures/digital stored songs of the named
  95. artist/band, that are available from the archiv called "Internet
  96. Music Underground Archive (IUMA), on the CD-Rom named
  97. "The Internet MPEG CD-Rom" without having to pay any kind of fee.

  99. The used pieces from the IUMA-Archive are free of any others rigths
  100. than the ones I'm authorized to.

  102. This authorization will not be limited to a amount of sold CD-Roms
  103. Frank Gadegast is not allowed to use this material in any other project.
  104. Frank Gadegast has to store the used information/pictures/digital
  105. stored songs in a way, the owner of the copyright, i.e. the bands/artist,
  106. are still identified. The storage of the used material will be as close
  107. as technicle possible to the way it was stored on the WWW-server by the
  108. IUMA-Archiv.

  110. This authorization does not touch any other rights of the owners of
  111. the material.
