- FragIII.wad collected by Ralph (Hat Trick) Evans (72457,2363@cis.com and at
- K-2 BBS at 714-838-8100).
- This is a collection of Doom II frag intensive deathmatch wads with exits so
- that you can play all 15 in a row. Mostly this is a conversion of great
- Doom 1 wads, some of master wad maker Kevin Roels wads & some others.
- Play using "doom2 -file Fragiii.wad" (you must have the registered version).
- Some have been modified to add weapons or ammo that people requested.

- I created this map in order to satisfy my urge to make a DeathMatch
- only .wad. While working on DOOM/DOOM ][ I had to make sure that the
- levels were created primarily for single player mode. We do not play
- single player here much, so most of my DOOM ][ maps were DeathMatch
- orientated... but again could not be total deathmatch levels. Well,
- here is my attempt at a DeathMatch only level. I hope everyone likes

- THIS FILE IS THE GORE1.WAD FILE CONVERTED FOR DOOM 2. THE CHAINGUN
- HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A "SUPER SHOTGUN" TO SOMEWHAT EQUALIZE THE
- POWER OF THE ROCKET LAUNCHER. IT SHOULD MAKE IT A MORE EVEN MATCH!

- This is a strictly deathmatch field. It makes you extremely paranoid,
- there's almost nowhere to cover your back. You start every time with
- two weapons: a Rocket Launcher and Chaingun.

- A hint: there are two suicide pits, once you enter them you can't get
- up. They are both useful and dangerous ;-) : when you are low on ammo,
- you can commit suicide (there is no extra ammo on the field), but the
- other players can quite easily get to you. Works best with three or
- four players, though it's small, two players may run for a long time
- without meeting.

- name has nothing to do with the design, but I bet
- it made you look at this file.
- It's another one of my top deathmatch WADs. I've gone
- for a bit of a castle courtyard theme this time.
- Its a large courtyard with sniper points all round.
- Lots of stairs and corridors to run up and down.
- The best weapons and bonuses are in difficult places
- in the open. Its excellent way to give your mates a
- good slapping.

- Description : This is a "ledges" type wad. It was designed
- entirely for Deathmatch but can be challenging
- for single player. All the weapons are available
- plus BERSERK. The basic layout is a figure eight
- or the "infinity" symbol (thus the name).
- Weapons and regeneration start points have been
- strategically located and fine tuned after a lot
- of deathmatch play. Health is limited as is ammo
- and armor. Everything has been set up such that
- the players will have to visit the entire level
- for one thing or another. Reference hint.doc
