  17. Limited Warranty

  19. If you bought this computer program copy (the "Software") at
  20. one of our authorized outlets, then you own it, just as you
  21. own a book or compact disc when you pay for it.  It's yours
  22. to use, or sell to someone else If you get tired of it.
  23.  
  24. As the owner of an authorized Software copy, you have
  25. certain rights under U.S. copyright law.  You may:
  26.  
  27.   - install and use the Software on a single computer.
  28.  
  29.   - sell this copy of the Software to someone else, provided
  30.     you remove it from your own computer.
  31.  
  32.   - make backup copies of the Software for your own use, in
  33.     case your master copy is damaged or destroyed.
  34.  
  35. Copying or reselling this software for any other reason or
  36. by any other means is a violation of U.S. copyright law.  Do
  37. not be fooled by our sensible price.  This is not shareware
  38. nor is it public domain software.

  40. We reserve all other rights to the Software, including the
  41. rights to copy it, modify it, and distribute it to others.

  43. 1. What the Warranty Covers

  45.    Disks:

  47.       ProOne CD, a division of Sofsource, Inc., warrants
  48.       that the physical disk(s) containing the Software
  49.       are free from physical defects in materials and
  50.       workmanship for the period stated below.  If these
  51.       materials were damaged before delivery, we may
  52.       replace them or refund your money at our sole option.

  54.    Software:

  56.       ProOne CD warrants that the disk(s) contained in
  57.       this package contain one complete copy of the
  58.       Software described on the package.  If any such
  59.       Software is not contained on any disk(s) in this
  60.       package, we may replace the disk(s) or refund
  61.       your money at our sole option.

  63. 2. Period of Coverage:
  64.  
  65.    All warranties are good for thirty (30) days after the
  66.    date you purchase this Software copy.  This means If
  67.    you require warranty service, you must deliver the
  68.    product back to us within the thirty (30) day
  69.    warranty period.  
  70.  
  71. 3. What We Do to Correct Problems:
  72.  
  73.    Send back all materials you believe are defective,
  74.    together with proof of purchase and a written
  75.    description of the defect. At our option, we will
  76.    either replace the defective disk(s) or manual(s),
  77.    or give you a full refund of the purchase price.
  78.    We may keep all replaced items, and all items for
  79.    which we give you a refund.  Or, feel free to call
  80.    the Technical Support Hot Line listed on the
  81.    outside of the box.

  92. 5. Warranty and Liability Limitations:

  94.    Except for the above, all disks, software and
  95.    accompanying written materials are provided "as is"
  96.    without warranty of any kind.  Any and all implied
  97.    warranties, including but not limited to any implied
  98.    warranties of merchantability or fitness for a
  99.    particular purpose, are limited to the thirty (30) day
  100.    express warranty period stated above.

  102.    Some states do not allow limitations on how long an
  103.    implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not
  104.    apply to you.

  106.    ProOne CD shall not be liable for any consequential,
  107.    special or punitive damages arising out of use or
  108.    inability to use this product.  Some states do not
  109.    allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
  110.    consequential damages, so the above limitation or
  111.    exclusion may not apply to you.
