  4. This patch fixes a bug with saving bitmap files. The BMP
  5. files saved by version 1.0 would not load into all software,
  6. including Adobe PhotoShop. This patch fixes that bug.
  7.  
  8. Also, a missing file from 1.0 is added. CharacterPicker.ocx is
  9. a component used to select any non-typable character from a font.
  10. Press the 'C' button on the text page to invoke it. You will need
  11. to register this file on your system; to do this, run it with
  12. REGSVR32.EXE, which you can find in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

  19. Unzip the new FontMagic.exe over your existing 1.0 copy. CharacterPicker.ocx
  20. can be placed in any directory, as long as it is registered.
