  16. Resize allows you to resize a batch of bitmaps/jpegs or convert them to 
  17. jpeg/bitmap or both. This is useful for creating many thumbnails for a 
  18. website simultaneously. It is also useful for resizing frames before
  19. creating animated gifs.

  21. Image shrinking is done using pixel-averaging, which gives much higher
  22. quality than sub-sampling. Image enlargment is also done using pixel-
  23. averaging, unlike most other image editing software.

  25. Each resized/converted image will be automatically saved to the same 
  26. location that it's original came from and given a prefix so that it 
  27. doesn't overwrite the original. You can also choose to save the new
  28. files to a specified location by changing the destination settings from
  29. the options menu.

  31. By clicking an item in the image file list, you can view that 
  32. image in a seperate window.

  34. You can open the program with files already listed by selecting the files 
  35. in a folder and dragging them onto the Resize icon or associating certain
  36. file types with Resize.
