  1. Hyphenation dictionary

  4. Language: Polish (pl PL).
  5. Origin:   Based on the TeX hyphenation patterns plhyph.tex,
  6. version 3.0a, Wednesday, May 17th, 1995
  7.  
  8. The first version of the patterns was developed
  9. by Hanna Ko│odziejska (1987).
  10.  
  11. The adaptation to the LeX format (see below) and extensive modification
  12. were done by Bogus│aw Jackowski & Marek Ryµko (1987--1989).
  13.  
  14. The hyphenation rules were further improved and adapted to the
  15. TeX 3.x requirements by Hanna Ko│odziejska (1991).

  17. Lone-standing version (3.0a) of patterns was prepared (under pressure
  18. from LaTeX users) by Bogus│aw Jackowski and Marek Ryµko, following
  19. Mariusz Olko's suggestions, 1995.

  21. The LeX format mentioned above was the first version of the adaptation
  22. of TeX to the Polish language. The next version is called MeX.
  23.  
  24. The original macro file plhyph.tex belongs to the public domain
  25. under the conditions specified by the author of TeX:
  26.  
  27.    ``Macro files like PLAIN.TEX should not be changed in any way,
  28.      except with respect to preloaded fonts,
  29.      unless the changes are authorized by the authors of the macros.''
