  4. Welcome to NoteTab Light!
  5. The ultimate free Notepad replacement and a capable HTML editor.

  7. If you are reading this file from your new NoteTab program, open the file
  8. Readme.otl to quickly discover some of its most original features. If you are
  9. not familiar with technical terms, you will find help by viewing the
  10. Glossary.otl file that can be accessed from the Help menu. See the WhatsNew.txt
  11. file for information on the most recent changes made to the program. Tip: put
  12. the cursor on any of these file names and hit the F7 function key to open it
  13. immediately.

  30. NoteTab Light is the ultimate free Notepad replacement and a capable HTML
  31. editor. A slimmer version of the award-winning NoteTab Pro, this slick
  32. application makes text editing a breeze. Move quickly around a stack of large
  33. files with a simple tabbed interface. Format your text to your heart's content.
  34. Write with the font of your choice, fixed-width or proportional.

  75. ---------------
  76. You can install this release over a previous copy if you want to keep all your
  77. settings. Just extract the Setup.exe file from the .zip package and execute it.

  79. How to Uninstall
  80. ................
  81. You can uninstall NoteTab by using the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs
  82. dialog box or the Uninstall NoteTab icon in the Start menu. Note that this will
  83. delete your program settings. If you want to save your settings, you should
  84. make a copy of the .ini file prior to uninstalling.

  86. IMPORTANT - WINDOWS NT USERS: If NoteTab was installed with Administrative
  87. privileges, you should then also uninstall NoteTab under these conditions.
  88. Otherwise, NoteTab might not be completely removed from your system.

  104. -------------
  105. NoteTab supports two different kinds of Help documents, HTML Help and the older
  106. WinHelp. Because HTML Help is appreciated a lot more than WinHelp, NoteTab is
  107. now distributed over the Internet with only HTML Help. However, some rare
  108. systems (Windows 95 and NT4) are not configured to display HTML Help. If that is
  109. your case, you can download the WinHelp versions of the NoteTab documentation
  110. from the following Web page:

  117. Free technical support is available to registered users of NoteTab Pro and
  118. NoteTab Standard. If you have a problem installing or running your registered

  120. you have problems ordering or getting your registered copy of NoteTab, please
  121. contact the online distributor's customer support (Digital River:

  124. mailing list to help you with all non-customer support issues (see below).
