  10. AddAce is Freeware. You are encouraged to pass it on, 
  11. upload them to BBS, Web and ftp sites -- but upload only the
  12. setup.exe file!

  16. Please register AddAce by selecting Register from the Help menu.
  17. Registration is free and will enable us to notify you of updates to
  18. data files and newer versions. Your information will not be disclosed
  19. to any third party.

  24. - AddAce does not *require* IE 4.0 or higher, but if it is detected,
  25.   a "premium" version of AddAce will be installed that utilizes
  26.   internal browsing.

  46. ======BRIEF DESCRIPTION======

  48. AddAce helps web developers in submitting their site to search engines
  49. as well as in maintaining the site's search  engine position by close
  50. monitoring of its rank. The program includes logging features and a
  51. scheduler to make sure that you are constantly aware  of tasks that
  52. have and that must be completed. Submissions are done through a
  53. partially manual and partially automatic approach, since total
  54. automation usually has many flaws and submitting manually can become
  55. a huge burden. The program loads a search engine submission's web
  56. page and "auto-fills" the submission form with data that you have
  57. provided. This way, you can view and edit information before
  58. submitting it and also  see the submission results.

  60. ======FILES INCLUDED WITHIN SETUP.EXE======

  62. addace.exe       The main executable file for AddAce. 
  63.                  This runs the program.

  65. scheck.exe       The AddAce schedule checker.
  66.                  Makes sure that scheduled items get completed even
  67.                  when the AddAce application is not running.

  69. *.dat            Data files for AddAce. It is very important not
  70.                  to alter these, or AddAce will not be able to
  71.                  function correctly.
