  1. IMPORTANT: If you are upgrading from a previous version of Chess Timer
  2. PLEASE READ THIS!

  4. You MUST delete the old version before installing version 1.2! This is
  5. true whether you have version 1.0 or 1.1 currently on your Pilot.

  7. I realize that with version 1.1 I said this wouldn't happen for future
  8. versions, and I apologize again for the inconvenience. The reason that
  9. this procedure is still necessary (if you're interested) is that
  10. between version 1.1 (or version 1.0 for that matter) and version 1.2,
  11. the list of preferences has changed. Because of the way the Pilot
  12. stores application preferences, upgrading without deleting the old
  13. version may corrupt memory.
