We now have the titles and index numbers for books not due out untill early 1993! Which other mag is this complete? Hopefully this will help you in showing what is due out and what to look for. STAR TREK : THE MOTION PICTURE by Gene Roddenberry (Titan #14) -------------------------------------------------- Adaptation of the film. (With added scenes and dialogue by the creator himself.) 2. THE ENTROPY EFFECT by Vonda N. McIntyre (Titan #17) --------------------------------------- With the death of Captain Kirk, Spock must travel back in time with the aid of a time machine invented by the convicted madman Dr. Georges Mordreaux, to save the life of his friend and the universe. 3. THE KLINGON GAMBIT by Robert E. Vardeman (Titan #33) ---------------------------------------- The crew of the Enterprise are ordered to the planet Alnath 2 to face the Klingon's greatest starship. But things begin to go wrong as one by one each member of the crew begins to lose their hold on reality. 4. THE COVENENT OF THE CROWN by Howard Weinstein (Titan #23) --------------------------------------------- Spock, McCoy and heir to the throne Kailyn are searching for the Shadden crown when there shuttle is forced to crash land. Now with the Klingons also interested in the crown a race is on, so the the rightful heir can take her place with her people. 5. THE PROMETHEUS DESIGN by Sondra Marshak & Myrna Culbreath (Titan #35) --------------------------------------------------------- The Enterprise is sent to the planet Helvan to investigate the impossible rise of violence on that planet. But soon the violence spreads to the Enterprise as Kirk is removed from command, and Spock begins to act in an un-Vulcan manner. 6. THE ABODE OF LIFE by Lee Correy (Titan #25) ------------------------------- The inhabitants of the planet Mercan do not believe in the existence of life-forms other than their own. So when a badly battered Enterprise arrives at their planet, Kirk has to try to make the Mercans believe that other life does exist. Meanwhile Mercan is a planet unstable, as it is about to explode destroying all life and the Enterprise. 7. STAR TREK II : THE WRATH OF KHAN by Vonda N. McIntyre (Titan #15) ----------------------------------------------------- Adaptation of the film. (With added scenes and dialogue) 8. BLACK FIRE by Sonni Cooper (Titan #37) -------------------------- The Enterprise is nearly destroyed as Spock finds that all leads point to sabotage. Spock forms an alliance with the Romulan and Klingon Empires in an attempt to find the saboteur's identity. Meanwhile Kirk must hunt down his best friend thinking he has defected. 9. TRIANGLE by Sondra Marshak & Myrna Culbreath -------------------------------------------- A dark and sinister plan has been unleashed on the unknowing galaxy. Only the minds of the ruthless Totality could conceive such a plan. Kirk and Spock must do battle with the beings, whilst both falling in love with the same women. 10. WEB OF THE ROMULANS by M.S. Murdock (Titan #27) ----------------------------------- The Romulans are falling victim to a deadly plague, there only hope is to reach Canara, where a cure exists. Attacking and crippling the Enterprise, Kirk decides to prevent what could become a war, by helping the Romulans to find the cure. 11. YESTERDAY'S SON by A.C. Crispin (Titan #8) ------------------------------- (Sequel to the episode ALL OUR YESTERDAYS) ------------------------------------------ The Romulans attack the planet of the Guardian of Forever. The Enterprise crew must protect the Guardian or destroy it so it does not come under Romulan domain. But Spock has already used it to journey back to Saredion where 5,000 years ago he fell in love with a woman, now he travels back to find his son. 12. MUTINY ON THE ENTERPRISE by Robert E. Vardeman (Titan #45) ---------------------------------------------- A peace mission to the Orion arm is stalled when the Enterprise is damaged orbiting a living, breathing planet. And an alien is causing the Enterprise crew to mutiny. 13. THE WOUNDED SKY by Diane Duane (Titan #19) ------------------------------ The Enterprise is testing the new Inversion drive, far faster than Warp Speed, when the Klingons try to stop her. But the crew begin to be affected by the system as time begins to become meaningless. 14. THE TRELLISANE CONFRONTATION by David Dvorkin (Titan #31) --------------------------------------------- The Enterprise is called to the war-torn planet of Trellisane. Kirk takes command of a Klingon ship, McCoy dines with cannibals and the Enterprise is surrounded by Romulan ships. 15. CORONA by Greg Bear (Titan #24) ------------------- A stranded team of Vulcan scientists is taken control over by a sentient force of protostars called Corona. The Enterprise is sent to rescue the Vulcans and to stop Corona from unleashing another big bang explosion. 16. THE FINAL REFLECTION by John M. Ford (Titan #10) ------------------------------------ On a mission to Earth, Klingon warrior Captain Krenn learns a lesson in peace and discovers a Klingon plot to shatter the Federation. Only Krenn can save the Federation. 17. STAR TREK III: THE SEARCH FOR SPOCK by Vonda E. McIntyre -------------------------------------------------------- Adaptation of the film. (With added scenes and dialogue) 18. MY ENEMY, MY ALLY by Diane Duane (Titan #21) -------------------------------- The Romulans are kidnapping Vulcans for genetic experimentation. Romulan Commander Ael t' Rlailiiu decides to call on her old enemy James T. Kirk to help in stopping the romulan experiments. 19. TEARS OF THE SINGERS by Melinda Snodgrass (Titan #39) ----------------------------------------- In the Taygeta V system, a time/space warp engulfs a ship leaving no trace. The Enterprise, with the aid of the Klingons, try to un-lock the mystery. Spock suspects a link between the semi-aquatic inhabitants of Taygeta and the jewel like tears they secrete just before death. 20. THE VULCAN ACADEMY MURDERS by Jean Lorrah (Titan #12) ----------------------------------------- Kirk and McCoy accompany Spock to the Vulcan Academy Hospital, seeking experimental treatment for an injured crew member. Patients begin to die in the hospital, and Kirk begins to suspect the impossible - murder on Vulcan. Who will be next to die? Spock's mother also lies ill in the hospital. Could it be her? 21. UHURA'S SONG by Janet Hagen (Titan Giant #3) --------------------------- A deadly plague threatens the inhabitants of the planet Eeiauo. Kirk and his crew try to find a cure. Years before, Uhura befriended a diplomat from Eeiauo and they exchanged forbidden songs. and now the clue to a cure could be hidden in those songs. But time runs short as the plague begins to kill the humans as well. 22. SHADOW LORD by Laurence Yep (Titan Giant #5) --------------------------- Spock and Sulu return to the planet Angira with its prince, Vikram. But what awaits them are bloodbaths and reactionary forces. Now the future of Angira depends on what the prince has learnt on Earth, and if he can use that knowledge to save his planet. 23. ISHMAEL by Barbara Hambly (Titan #26) ------------------------- The Enterprise on a peaceful mission at starbase 12 witnesses the bizarre disappearance of a Klingon ship with Spock on board. He manages to get a message to Kirk saying the Klingons are time travelling to Earth's past to find one man who may hold the key to their present. 24. KILLING TIME by Della Van Hise (Titan #38) ------------------------------ A Romulan time tampering machine has caused the creation of a second universe. Kirk is a young Ensign, and Spock a Starship Captain. Lured into a trap Captain Spock and Ensign Kirk must free themselves from the Romulans and their altered selves. 25. DWELLERS IN THE CRUCIBLE by Margaret Wander Bonanna (Titan Giant #4) --------------------------------------------------- A Federation experiment, The Warrantors of Peace, each a member of every planet of the Federation, is an attempt to keep peace among the galaxy. 6 Warrantors are kidnapped by the Romulans. Kirk sends Sulu to infiltrate the Romulans and rescue the Warrentors. 26. PAWNS AND SYMBOLS by Majliss Larson (Titan Giant #6) ----------------------------------- A Deadly famine threatens the entire Klingon Empire. The Klingons believing it is a new attack on them by the Federation begin to start what could lead to an interplanetary war. Kirk must play a deadly game of strategy to defeat the Klingons. 27. MINDSHADOW by J.M. Dillard (Titan #41) -------------------------- On the tranquil planet of Aritani, Spock is mysteriously injured and his mind a wreck. Kirk uncovers a plot by the Romulans, but the secret to the scheme is locked inside the mind of Mr. Spock. 28. CRISIS ON CENTAURUS by Brad Fergusson ------------------------------------- A massive computer malfunction almost cripples the Enterprise when a priority call comes from Starfleet, "Head right for Centaurus, thousands dead. Give what ever help needed." The mission becomes a personal one for Dr. McCoy as Centaurus is the home of his daughter, Joanna. 29. DREADNOUGHT by Diane Carey (Titan #29) -------------------------- Star Empire is the Federation most powerful ship, A dreadnought. On the eve of her maiden flight she is stolen by terrorists and they demand a meeting with the Enterprise. Lt. Piper on her first trainee course on the Enterprise, discovers friends of hers stole the Star Empire, but why? 30. DEMONS by J.M. Dillard (Titan #43) ---------------------- A powerful force which invaded the galaxy long before the Federation existed has been unearthed by a Starfleet research mission. The force is secretly bought back to Vulcan where Spock must defeat it or allow the Enterprise to become the instrument of the galaxy's destruction. 31. BATTLESTATIONS by Diane Carey ----------------------------- (Sequel to DREADNOUGHT) ----------------------- While on Earth Kirk is arrested and suspected of the theft of the Federation's latest invention, the Transwarp. Mr. Spock with the aid of Lt. Piper set out to reveal the real traitor to Starfleet. 32. CHAIN OF ATTACK by Gene DeWeese (Titan #1) ------------------------------- On a mapping mission, the Enterprise is hurtled millions of light years through space with no way back home. A study of the planets in this new system reveals the destruction of all planets by a thing known as the Destroyer. When the beings of this galaxy see the Enterprise they mistake it for a Destroyer and begin to attack. 33. DEEP DOMAIN by Howard Weinstein (Titan #2) ------------------------------- On a routine diplomatic mission to the water world of Akkalla, Spock and Chekov disappear. Kirk begins a desperate search for his friends and is plunged into a corrupt government's struggle to retain power. 34. DREAMS OF THE RAVEN by Carmen Carter (Titan #3) ------------------------------------ An alien attack cripples the Enterprise and causes McCoy to loose all knowledge of his friends and his career in Starfleet. Kirk must try to defeat this alien menace and save the mind of Dr. McCoy. 35. THE ROMULAN WAY by Diane Duane & Peter Morwood (Titan #4) ---------------------------------------------- For eight years Federation agent Terise Haleakala has been living as a Romulan on their home planet. But now with the capture of McCoy does she expose her identity by coming to his rescue or carry on her undercover mission. 36. HOW MUCH FOR JUST THE PLANET? by John M. Ford (Titan #5) --------------------------------------------- The planet Direidi is ripe with Dilithium crystals, and under the Organian peace treaty, the Federation and the Klingon Empire must prove who is the best suited for the planet's welfare and admission into either government. For the Federation Capt. James T. Kirk and his crew and for the Klingons Capt. Kaden Vestai. But things are not what they seem on Direidi. 37. BLOODTHRIST by J.M. Dillard (Titan #6) --------------------------- The Enterprise is called to Federation outpost Tanis where 2 of the 3 scientists there have been murdered and drained of all blood. the survivor, Dr. Jeffery Adams holds a secret that will rock the Federation, and death to the crew of the Enterprise. 38. THE IDIC EPIDEMIC by Jean Lorrah (Titan #7) -------------------------------- A plague has sprung on the Vulcan colony of Nisus. A colony that has Vulcan, Human and Klingon living and working side by side. The plague is somehow rooted to the Vulcan philosophy of IDIC, and begins to tear apart all that is holy to the Vulcans. 39. TIME FOR YESTERDAY by A.C. Crispin (Titan #9) ---------------------------------- (Sequel to YESTERDAY'S SON by the same author) ---------------------------------------------- Time has stopped running it's normal course. Starfleet realize that the Guardian of Forever is malfunctioning, and they bring back together Kirk, Spock and McCoy and send them on a mission to communicate with the Guardian. A mission that sends them back in time to a reunion with Spock's son, Zar. 40. TIMETRAP by David Dvorkin (Titan #10) ------------------------- An accident hurls Captain Kirk 100 years into the future where he finds he was instrumental in bringing peace between the Federation and the Klingon Empire. But Kirk can not remember the circumstances leading to the peace that now exists. He must try to travel back to his past to bring about the future, or is this some new Klingon trick. 41. THE THREE MINUTE UNIVERSE by Barbara Paul (Titan #11) ----------------------------------------- The Sackers, a race of beings that makes most members of the Federation to become violently ill at there appearance, have stolen a new scientific invention and with it cause a rip in the fabric of space, a rip which is allowing another universe to seep through into our own. If this other universe is not stopped it will eventually cause the destruction of our own. 42. MEMORY PRIME by Gar & Judith Reeves-Stevens (Titan #16) ------------------------------------------- Memory Prime is the central core of an immense computer library. A race of artificial intelligences, The Pathfinders, are allowed to control the vast amount of information that comes here. Now scientists from all over the Federation are here for the Nobel & Z-Magnees awards. But someone is killing the greatest minds of our galaxy, and Spock is accused of the murders. 43. THE FINAL NEXUS by Gene DeWeese (Titan #18) ------------------------------- (Sequel to CHAIN OF ATTACK by the same author) ---------------------------------------------- Centuries ago a race of beings created a series of gateways, which the Enterprise has used twice before and returned, but not knowing the origins of there creation. Now the crew must find out the gateways beginnings, as the begin to malfunction and take the very stars with them. 44. VULCAN'S GLORY by D.C. Fontana (Titan #20) ------------------------------ This is Spock's first adventure aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise. Spock meets his first Captain, Christopher Pike, And begins to try to reconcile his obligations to his Vulcan heritage and his obligations to Starfleet. One of Vulcan's most sacred pieces, The Glory, is stolen and Spock feels he must in someway help to retrieve it. 45. DOUBLE, DOUBLE by Micheal Jan Friedman (Titan #22) -------------------------------------- (Sequel to the episode WHAT ARE LITTLE GIRLS MADE OF) ----------------------------------------------------- On a routine mission, the U.S.S. Hood picks up a distress call from the expedition of Dr. Roger Korby, believed long dead and deserted. The captain of the Hood beams down to investigate and discovers that all of the equipment is in perfect working order. Meanwhile, the Enterprise orbits Tranquility 7, the crew looking forward to a well earned shore leave. Then reports begin to drift in of actions which Kirk has no memory of doing. Believed destroyed, Kirk's double begins to wreck revenge and torment to destroy James T. Kirk. 46. THE CRY OF THE ONLIES by Judy Klass (Titan #28) ----------------------------------- (Sequel to the episode MIRI) ---------------------------- The Enterprise's mission is to try and re-establish peace on the colony of Boaco 6, and determine whether the ties between it and the Federation could be strengthened. An experimental Federation ship accidentally destroys a Boacan ship, and Kirk and his crew must attempt to stop a full scale war. 47. THE KOBYASHI MARU by Julia Ecklar (Titan #30) --------------------------------- A surprise Shuttle accident leaves Kirk, McCoy, Scotty, Sulu and Chekov drifting in space until the Enterprise can locate and rescue them. Meanwhile the friends have time to each tell how they approached and took the infamous Kobyashi Maru test. 48. RULES OF ENGAGEMENT by Peter Morwood (Titan #32) ------------------------------------ The Enterprise is sent to the revolution hit planet of Dekkanar to rescue Federation members there. The Klingons are testing out there new warship which is commanded by a Klingon who will stop at nothing to bring honour and glory to his Empire, it's destination, Dekkanar. The Enterprise orbits the planet with orders under no circumstances to raise shields or use weapons. The Klingon warship approaches. 49. THE PANDORA PRINCIPLE by Carolyn Clowes (Titan #34) --------------------------------------- A Romulan Bird of Prey drifts into Federation space and the crew of the Enterprise finds that it is a derelict. While towing it back to Starfleet H.Q., a mysterious force is released and begins to kill all who come into contact with it. Lt. Saavik has seen this before and must revive surpressed memories of her past youth to discover a way to stop the killing. 50. DOCTOR'S ORDERS by Diane Duane (Titan #36) ------------------------------ McCoy is forever complaining about the "centre seat". So when a simple mission comes along, Kirk beams down to the planet and leaves McCoy in command of the Enterprise. Then something goes wrong. Kirk disappears without trace and the Klingons show up showing more then a keen interest in the planet. 51. ENEMY UNSEEN by V.E. Mitchell (Titan #40) ----------------------------- A diplomatic ferrying mission goes horribly wrong, when a diplomatic attache is murdered and one of the crewmembers is accused of the murder. 52. HOME IS THE HUNTER by Dana Kramer-Rolls (Titan #42) --------------------------------------- A battle between the Enterprise and a Klingon warship is mysteriously stopped by an alien being named Wwyland. As a punishment for the two fighting, the being transports Scotty to 18th century Scotland, Sulu to feudal Japan and Chekov to World War II Russia. Now the three must come to terms with the dangers of the past, as they can find no way back. 53. GHOST-WALKER by Barbara Hambly (Titan #44) ------------------------------ Elcidar Beta-3 is a tranquil planet that refuses to accept any form of technology. When they exhaust all of their natural means, a global famine is imminent. When the Enterprise comes to help a strange being begins to stalk its corridors, as if it's own. And it does not hesitate to kill. 54. A FLAG FULL OF STARS by Brad Fergusson (Titan #46) -------------------------------------- (Sequel to THE LOST YEARS giant novel) -------------------------------------- 18 months after its 5 year mission the Enterprise is docked for a re-fit. The crew has gone it's separate ways, and Admiral Kirk, now married, is Chief of Starfleet Operations. Scientist G'Dath is on the brink of the greatest discovery in Starfleet history. Klingon agents capture this discovery and Kirk and Lt. Riley are all that stands between peace or the devastation of the Federation. 55. RENEGADE by Gene Deweese (Titan #48) ------------------------ For almost a century the two cultures of Chrellkan III & IV have enjoyed a peaceful relationship untill a rebel faction begins to cause disruption between the two societies. To help in the peace talks, Starfleet send the crew of the Enterprise to Chrellkan, and Kirk sends Spock & McCoy down to the planet to begin talks. But upon their arrival they are taken hostage and Kirk believes his friends killed as the secret of the disruptions becomes more evident as outside interference. 56. LEGACY by Michael Jan Friedman (Titan #50) ------------------------------ On a routine survey, time becomes critical as Spock is poisoned by a huge creature of the planet Alpha Octavious. Kirk orders an immediate beam up for his friend as he continues the survey with the rest of the landing party. But disaster strikes as a freak cave in causes Kirk and his party to become trapped beneath the planets surface. Mr. Scott, in command of the Enterprise, orders a search of the planets surface and then Starfleet order the Enterprise away from the planet to investigate a mining colony under attack in the Beta Cabrini system. Once there, Spock has to feign good health as he is pitted against an old enemy from his days with Capt. Pike. 57. THE RIFT by Peter David (Titan #52) ----------------------- The Enterprise, under the command of Christopher Pike, comes across a Rift in the fabric of space. When they enter and then emerge on its other side, Pike discovers a race of beings called the Calligar whom appear suspicious of the Federation's intent. After peacful negotiations, the Enterprise leaves the closing Rift to resume its mission. 33 years later the Enterprise, under the command of James T. Kirk, encounters the same Rift and send a shuttle commanded by Spock to rekindle the Federation's contact with the Calligarans. Things to not go according to plan when the Rift begins to close, Spock is seemingly trapped on the other side. 58. FACES OF FIRE by Michael Jan Friedman (Titan #53) ------------------------------------- En route to Alpha Malurian to settle a dispute between two religions, the Enterprise first stops to do a routine check on the progress of terraforming colony, Beta Canzandia Three. Leaving Spock to carry on scientific studies, the Enterprise carries on towards Alpha Malurian. Meanwhile a Klingon ship arrives at Canzandia Three to take control of facility there. The colonists are imprisoned, and Spock must defeat the Klingons or face certain death. 59. THE DISINHERITED by Robert Greenberger, Michael (Titan #54) Jan Friedman & Peter David ----------------------------------------------- A mysterious alien force is brutally attacking Federation worlds. Gamma Xaird - a peaceful research colony - is the third world to fall under the attacks. Kirk and his crew are sent to investigate only to find the planet completly devastated. Then a nearby colony is attacked and the Enterprise rushes to its aid and manages to make the invaders flee. Spock makes a startling discovery as to the reason behind the attacks, a reason that if realised could have dealy consequences. 60. ICE TRAP by L.A. Graf (Titan #55) --------------------- An orbital shuttle carrying civilian research scientists explodes in a mysterious magnetic storm on the icebound planet of Nordstral and the scientists disappear among the native population. Answering a distress call, Kirk and the Enterprise arrive to find an inexplicable form of insanity affecting the remaining researchers. Kirk and McCoy board a vast submarine ship which travels under the ice-coated surface of the planet, harvesting the planets indigenous plankton. Meanwhile Uhura and Chekov lead a rescue team in search of the missing scientists, but are soon attacked by the natives who are called the Kitka. Both teams begin to unravel the mystery of Nordstral - a mystery that could have deadly consequences for the crew of the Enterprise and the entire world. 61. SANCTUARY by John Vornholt (Released 24th Sept '92) (Titan #56) -------------------------- The planet Sanctuary. A fabled world in unexplored space which is thought to be the last refuge of the persecuted, home to both the justly and unjustly accused. Though its name has been translated into every language in the galaxy, Starfleet has never known its exact location. When the crew of the Enterprise is assigned to capture a dangerous criminal named Auk Rex, their pursuit takes them to an unexplored sector of space. Capt. Kirk, Mr. Spock and Dr. McCoy continue the pursuit in a shuttlecraft, following Auk Rex to the surface of the planet Sanctuary. Soon, Kirk and his crew are locked in a life and death struggle on the strange world, which harbours deadly secrets and never releases its visitors. 62. DEATH COUNT by L.A. ENTERPRISE: THE FIRST ADVENTURE by Vonda N. McIntyre ---------------------------------------------------- Before their historic 5 year mission began, the youngest Starship Captain ever, James T. Kirk, takes the crew of his first command the Enterprise, on a routine ferrying mission. The mission is to transport a group of vaudevillians to a distant starbase. But things begin to go not as expected as a renegade Klingon tries all he can to provoke war with the Federation, and a world so peaceful and wonderous is caught in between the conflict. Kirk begins to fight for what he was never prepared for at the Academy, the respect and the survival of his crew, on a mission that could turn out to be his last before his main mission begins. 2. STRANGERS FROM THE SKY by Margaret Wander Bonanno (Titan Giant #1) ------------------------------------------------- It is the 21st century and Earth is at long last at peace with itself. It is then that a ship crashes on this world in the South Pacific, it's inhabitants are Vulcan. In the distant future Admiral Kirk begins to read the book "STRANGERS FROM THE SKY", and each night he keeps having recurrant violent nightmares. With the aid of a strange sorceror, Kirk, Spock and his crew time travel back to the 21st century to try and get the Vulcans off the planet as the contact between the two races should not happen for another 20 years. The Vulcans must be returned to their planet or a bloody savage war could break out throughout the universe. 3. FINAL FRONTIER by Diane Carey ----------------------------- A time before James T. Kirk ventured into space, his father George Samuel Kirk was a security officer for the Federation. In an event never before revealed, George Kirk was instrumental in the test run of the Federation's latest technological breakthrough - The Starship Enterprise. The Federation wants it's new ship to spearhead a campaign for peace, under the command of Captain Robert April. But it's first mission goes wrong as the ship and her crew are plunged into an all out confrontation with the Romulans. Unknowing to the crew as the ship begins to do battle they have an un-invited guest, a Romulan agent. 4. GHOST SHIP by Diane Carey ------------------------- 1995, 300 years in the past. A Russian aircraft carrier disappears without trace. Now, the present. Picard is reluctant to turn over the rations to this corrupt government. He must try to change the ways of the planet's rulers before the starving populace dies. 7. MASKS by John Vornholt ---------------------- The Enterprise is sent to the planet Lorca to open diplomatic relations between the planet and the Federation. The people of this beautiful world wear masks to donate rank and station. Picard and an away team set off to find the wearer of the Wisdom mask, for whomever wears it is the ruler of all the planet. When they lose contact with the Enterprise, Riker heads a search party for the missing Captain, unknowing that it is all a scheme of a madman who wants the Wisdom mask for himself and with it, Lorca. 8. THE CAPTAIN'S HONOR by David & Daniel Dvorkin --------------------------------------------- A Series of hostile attacks on the planet Tenara, bring the Enterprise and the Centurian to the planet's aid. Captain Sejanus of the Centurian believes the only way to stop the M'dok's attacks is to fight fire with fire. Picard believes otherwise. The people of Tenara must decide which path to take. But unknown to them their fate has already been decided. One of the Centurian's crew plans to provoke war with the M'dok. 9. A CALL TO DARKNESS by Michael Jan Friedman ------------------------------------------ Discovering a derelict Federation research ship orbitting a planet hidden by a vast energy shield, Picard leads an away team to search for the missing crew. Disaster strikes as Picard and his team disappear without trace and a deadly disease begins to ravage the Enterprise crew. 10. A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE by Peter David -------------------------------------- On the planet Paradise, a group of terraformers fall behind their schedule. Riker is given temporary leave from the Enterprise to assist in their project. His replacment on the ship is a volatile officer named Stone, whose ways begin to raise questions about his judgement. Back on Paradise, Riker is emboiled in a life and death struggle on the planet's frozen landscape, where he discovers not all the planet's dangers are natural in nature. 11. Huxley, the Enterprise comes across the planet Rampart, where all fiction is banned as being taboo. A team from the planet beams aboard the Enterprise to search for contraband - fiction. Finding the Enterprise filled with "evil" a series of deadly machines, One-eyes, are left on board. On the planet's surface the crew fight for the life of their Captain. 12. DOOMSDAY WORLD by Carmen Carter, Peter David, Michael Jan Friedman and Robert Greenberger ------------------------------------------------------------------ Kirlos, an artificial world that has become home to many races including the Federation and the K'vin Hegemony. Data, Geordi and Worf beam down to the planet to help an archaeological team unearth the planet's wealth of undiscovered treasures. Relations between the Federation and the K'vin become strained when the away team are imprisoned. Meanwhile on Kirlos, ancient underground machinery begins to stir, priming the most powerful destructive force ever. 13. THE EYES OF THE BEHOLDER by A.C. Crispin ---------------------------------------- After a new trading route is opened, Federation and Klingon ships begin to disappear. The Enterprise is sent to investigate. The crew discover a vast graveyard in space full of ships of every description, including the missing Federation and Klingon ships. At it's centre is an incredibly huge alien artifact. As the crew try to discover it's origin, insanity hits the crew of the Enterprise. 14. EXILES by Howard Weinstein -------------------------- For 300 years the planets Alas and Etolos have been the most bitter of enemies. Now disaster strikes each planet and their only hope of survival is dependence on each other. To negociate peace and begin rescue efforts, the Enterprise is sent to the planets. Some people, however, do not want peace. The ultimate revenge begins. A revenge that could bring destruction to the planets and to the Enterprise. 15. FORTUNE'S LIGHT by Michael Jan Friedman --------------------------------------- Years before his assignment on the Enterprise, Riker and Teller Conlon were part of the team that help bring Dante Maxima-7 (known by it's people as Imprima) into the Federation. Now Riker and the Enterprise crew are sent to Dante to investigate the theft of one of it's priceless artifacts, the FORTUNE'S LIGHT. Teller Conlon goes missing and is accused of the theft. Riker tries to find the truth about the theft and the disappearance of his friend. 16. CONTAMINATION by John Vornholt ------------------------------ A murderer is on the loose aboard the Enterprise. The crew are shocked when noted scientist Lynn Costa is found murdered in one of the ship's science labs. Worf and Troi set out to investigate the crime and soon reveal a dangerous web of deceit, betrayal and madness. They find themselves up against a killer whom murder is only the beginning to revenge. 17. BOOGEYMEN By Mel Gilden ----------------------- An old friend of Picard's, leading Exologist, Eric Baldwin, comes aboard the Enterprise asking Picard for his help. During the course of his experiments, Baldwin has made many enemies across the galaxy, and he can think of only one way to safety and that is to purge all computer files of his existence. One of Wesley's computer experiments begins to go wrong as his Holodeck creations, the boogeymen, begin to take over the Enterprise's computer systems and cause chaos throughout the ship. 18. Q-IN-LAW By Peter David ----------------------- The Enterprise is requested to house the marriage of two people from feuding planets in a hope to bring peace between the two worlds. Delegates from the Federation worlds begin to beam aboard, and one is none other then Lwaxana Troi herself. Things begin to get worse when Q turns up to show an interest in the wedding procedings, and ends up in a close relationship with Lwaxana, bestowing her with the power of the Q. 19. PERCHANCE TO DREAM By Howard Weinstein -------------------------------------- On a routine survey mission to Domarus 4, Data, Troi and Wesley are taken captive in their shuttle by a race of beings known as the Tenirans. When negotiating the release of his crew members, Picard sees the shuttle disappears in a blaze of light. Then suddenly Picard disappears in the same way and finds himself on the planets surface along with the captain of the Teniran ship. The two must work together as one as they come across a being with the power to change a world or obilterate it. 20. SPARTICUS By T L Mancour ------------------------ The Enterprise answers the distress call of the ship Freedom, belonging to a race known as Vemlans. Only to happy to assist in the repairs of the craft, the Enterprise finds herself in the middle of a whole fleet of ships from Vemlan that tell Picard that the Freedom is crewed by slaves and are the property of Vemlan, and must be returned. Jerun, the Captain of the Freedom pleads with Picard for their freedom. But Picard is torn between his conscience and the dictates of the Prime Directive. If the slaves are not handed over the fleet of alien ships will destroy the Enterprise. 21. CHAINS OF COMMAND By Bill McCay & Eloise Flood ---------------------------------------------- While exploring a group of devastated Class M worlds in a remote sector of space, the Enterprise crew are shocked to discover a glacial world populated by human slaves. When the slaves begin to revolt against their captors, Picard and his crew are forced to watch and sympathise with there struggle for freedom. When the revolt is a success, Picard learns that the slaves and their masters were being controlled by an alien culture known as the Tseetsk, who learning of the revolt are returning to reclaim their property. Needing the help of the Enterprise, the former slaves capture Captain Picard and Counsellor Troi in an attempt to force the hand of Riker to help in their new time of need. 22. IMBALANCE By V.E. Mitchell -------------------------- (Sequel to the closing scenes of THE BIG GOODBYE) ------------------------------------------------- When the reclusive race of insectoid beings, the Jarada, begin to express a desire to join the Federation, Picard and the Enterprise are ordered to negotiate the exchange of Ambassadors. Upon reaching their planet, the Jarada begin to act in a very uncharacteristc friendly manner as they invite members of the crew down to their world. Cmdr Riker and his away team are soon cut off from the Enterprise, which is suddenly attacked by the inhabitants of the planet. Why? Picard must find out the reason for the attacks and abduction of his crew members before it's to late for his ship and his friends on the surface. 23. WAR DRUMS By John Vornholt (Released 22nd Oct '92) -------------------------- The planet Selva, a lush colony world settled by a hardy group of humans who found the planet already inhabited by a small gang of young Klingons. When violence erupts between the two groups, Captain Picard and the U.S.S. Enterprise are sent in to assist. Worf leads a landing party while the Enterprise is called away on another mission. Worf and his party find that old hatreds and prejudices between Humans & Klingons are revived, and the settlers are out for blood.
