  7. ÉTHE SHINING
  8. Ê#È During the opening with the aerial
  9. view  of  the  car  climbing  up the
  10. lonely  mountain road, the shadow of
  11. the  helicopter  is visible for more
  12. than  just  brief  moment.  Ê #È  Jack
  13. Nicholson  hacks  through one of two
  14. thin  panels in a bathroom door.  In
  15. a  later  scene, you can clearly see
  16. that  both  panels  have been hacked
  17. through.
  18.  
  19. ÉTHE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS
  20. Ê#È When  Jodie  Foster  goes into the
  21. first  girl's  room, her father says
  22. that  the room has been left the way
  23. it  was when she died.  But, there's
  24. a  Debbie Harry "Def, Dumb & Blonde"
  25. poster  on the wall.  That album was
  26. released  in 1989, 3 years after the
  27. girl  died. Ê #È When we first see Dr.
  28. Lector  in the "courthouse cage", we
  29. hear  his  cassette  player playing.
  30. The  tape wheels on the cassette are
  31. not turning.

  33. ÉSPLASH
  34. Ê#È When  the  mermaid  (Daryl Hannah)
  35. steps  on  land  for the first time,
  36. she  is supposed to be totally nude.
  37. The  director  tries  to  convey her
  38. nudity  without actually showing her
  39. nude  body thus As she walks towards
  40. that  crowd,  the  camera alternates
  41. between   her   bare   back   (waist
  42. upwards)  and her bare legs.  Except
  43. that  in the first shot, you can see
  44. Hannah  wearing  blue jeans!  And in
  45. the  second,  she  is wearing a long
  46. shirt! Ê #È There is a scene where Tom
  47. Hanks  has  the lid off the outboard
  48. motor  while  he  is trying to start
  49. it.    The  motor  starts  suddenly,
  50. throwing  him  overboard.   The next
  51. shot  has  the  boat spinning around
  52. with  the  lid magically back on the
  53. motor.

  55. ÉSTAR WARS
  56. Ê#È In  the scene where the heroes are
  57. being     interrogated     by    the
  58. stormtroopers   (after   entering  a
  59. spaceport),  the position and number
  60. of stormtroopers varies from shot to
  61. shot.  Ê  # È When  the  stormtroopers
  62. break  into the control room, one of
  63. them  bangs  his  head  on the door.
  64. In   the   trash  compactor,  Carrie
  65. Fisher  is  anticipating  her cue by
  66. getting ready to lift the bar before
  67. the  compactor  begins  to  close (a
  68. good  second  or  two.) Ê #È The scene
  69. where  Luke  is on the ground in the
  70. snow, when all the AT-ATs are moving
  71. in,  he  turns  his head out of sync
  72. with  a 'plane' flying overhead that
  73. he  sees.Ê  #È After Luke destroys the
  74. Death  Star  and lands, Leah runs up
  75. to   him  yelling  "Luke!".   Luke's
  76. response  is "Carrie!" (as in Carrie
  77. Fisher).

  79. ÉTHRILLER (MICHAEL JACKSON)
  80. Ê#È As    he's    walking   with   his
  81. girlfriend  and  singing (after they
  82. leave  the  movie  house) you'll see
  83. the  shadow  of  the  camera cart in
  84. view.

  86. ÉTOP GUN
  87. Ê#ÈAt  the  end  of  the  movie  when
  88. Maverick  lands  on  the  deck after
  89. shooting   down   all  the  baddies,
  90. Slider   (Iceman's   partner)  picks
  91. Maverick  up sort of bear hug style.
  92. Well before he picks him up Maverick
  93. doesn't  have his sunglasses on, but
  94. when he has been lifted up they have
  95. magically appeared on his face.

  97. ÉTOTAL RECALL
  98. Ê#È In  the  'elevator' scene, Richter
  99. and  his  men  are  running  to  the
  100. elevator...   past  a  blue  screen.
  101. Just  after  Arnie  has  killed  his
  102. first  four  he  goes  back  to  his
  103. apartment and talks to his wife.  He
  104. places  both hands on either side of
  105. her head and pretty much immediately
  106. afterwards  he  shows  her his blood
  107. covered   hands.    She  doesn't  of
  108. course have any blood on her face!
  109.  
  110. ÉTHE UNTOUCHABLES
  111. Ê#È When  Sean  Connery  is talking to
  112. Kevin  Costner  in  his  (Connery's)
  113. room,    Connery's    shirt   collar
  114. alternates  between  being  buttoned
  115. and  and  unbuttoned  in the several
  116. shots  of  that  scene.   # When the
  117. knife-man   is  sneaking  into  Sean
  118. Connery's  apartment, there is a POV
  119. shot  as  the  camera  approaches  a
  120. window.   The  camera  and cameraman
  121. are clearly reflected in the window.
  122. (He  is  wearing a white shirt and a
  123. red cap, as I recall.)

  125. ÉWAR GAMES
  126. Ê#È The  General  yells  "Send out the
  127. F-15's",  and  footage  shows F-16's
  128. taking off.

  130. ÉWHEN HARRY MET SALLY
  131. Ê#È Billy  Crystal  spits the seeds on
  132. the window and then says, "I'll open
  133. the window." The next shot shows the
  134. outside  of  the  car driving on the
  135. highway, Billy's window is closed.
