  1. PREFERENCES MENU HELP

  4. Colour palette - Allows you to change the screen colours to suit your
  5.                  preference. A number of set palettes are already
  6.                  defined for you. Simply click on one to change the
  7.                  palette.
  8.                  Move the sliders to alter values of red,green and
  9.                  blue in the colour selected. Click on the box on the
  10.                  left to go to the next colour.

  12.                  UNDO - Undoes any palette change you have just made.
  13.                  O.K  - Sets the change you have made.
  14.                  DEFAULT - Changes the palette to the default settings.

  17. Adjust screen position - Allows you to alter the hardware position of
  18.                          the screen to suit your display.

  21. Change mouse pointer - Arrow (Default)
  22.                        Big Arrow
  23.                        Crosshair

  27. Auto load file - This will automatically load a file as soon as PowerBase
  28.                  is loaded.  So if you only regularly use one file then
  29.                  enter the full filepath and (re)save your preferences
  30.                  and this file will then be loaded each time you load
  31.                  PowerBase.

  34. Key repeat speed - Set the time it takes for a key to repeat when
  35.                    held down.

  38. Default key speed - Allows you to set the key speed back to normal.
  39.                     (Useful if you make a mistake with the option
  40.                      above!)

  43. Speed of FF/Rewind - Allows you to decide how quick the FastForward and
  44.                      Rewind options are.

  47. Auto filter speed -Allows you to change the delay between records being
  48.                    displayed with the AUTO option on the filter utility.

  51. Define function keys - Allows you to define key macros for the F1-F10
  52.                        keys.

  55. Clear function key macro - Clears the key macros

  58. Record slider ON/OFF - If you want the record slider bar above the
  59.                        V.C.R panel on or off.
