  7.    VcEd is a voice editor for the Yamaha DS55 4 Operator synthesizer.  I
  8. wrote this, after trading my DX100 in for the new DS55, because I liked the
  9. old DX way of programming, and was not capable of doing that on my new DS55.
  10.    The only difference in ver 2.0 is that I have added a few new features
  11. and fixed a couple of bugs that I found in ver. 1.0.
  12.    The new features that I added are file requesters and a hardcopy feature.
  13. These 2 features will make using VcEd much nicer.
  14.    I am also distributing the full featured software this time, instead of
  15. the demo version like I did with ver. 1.0. I am doing this because I got
  16. very little response from the last version. The response that I did get was
  17. mostly from over seas (Germany and Holland). The response from those people
  18. drove me to update VcEd, mainly for them and for myself also.
  19.    I do not expect any donations from the people that ordered ver. 1.0. I
  20. feel that they have paid there dues as Beta Testers, and their complements
  21. made me feel like I had written a quality peice of software (Thanks).
  22.    I have been told that this Editor works fine with the other Yamaha DX
  23. series, 4 OP, Yamaha keyboards.  The sound buffer and Edit buffer data
  24. layouts are identical, and the SysEx commands are identical too. The only
  25. parameters that I am sure will not work with the DX Synths, are the Delay
  26. parameters. 
  27.    I am passing the Executable only, and I am offering this program as
  28. Shareware.  I am asking a donation of $10.00 if you use the software and a
  29. donation of $25.00 if you wnat the source code (written in Manx 'C' Ver.
  30. 5.0d).
  31.    The source code is fully commented and the buffer and SysEx codes are
  32. layed out so that you can change them to fit your needs, if you prefer. You
  33. could probably change it into an Editor for another machine pretty easy!!
