  2.   Well...   the TOTAL WAR 1.x ends after 10 versions (from 1.0 up to 1.9)
  3. and to tell you the truth, I loved doing this game, love to play it and I
  4. think I will continue to do all this...

  6.   Please  reading  what  is next remember that there is a time gap betwen
  7. the time of writing and the now (the moment you are reading this...).  By
  8. this I mean that what I am about to tell you may already be available!!!!

  13.    12-09-91 Lisbon, 6 a.m.

  15.    I just finished version 1.9 of the TOTAL WAR game, I am beginning the
  16. new version TOTAL WAR II game right now... here is what I want it to do:

  18.      * Full modem support (play with a friend or more, via modem in
  19.       separate houses, citys, countries, etc)
  20.  
  21.      * Better opponents
  22.  
  23.      * Faster game (probably a lot faster since AMOS now supports
  24.       supports assembler directly... meaning that I can mix the
  25.       basic and amal parts with speedy code...)
  26.  
  27.      * Different variants allowed... something like optional planes,
  28.       missiles, etc... and some mean ideas I got...
  29.  
  30.      * New graphics (with support for both pal and NTSC, but with totaly
  31.       diferent data for both formats... I don't like NTSC graphics....)

  33.    I  really  don't  have a release date for all this since I am going to
  34. re-write  99%  of  the game...  It will be crippleware (meaning, the game
  35. will  not be available unless you register it...  I will release somekind
  36. of demo, but as I said; a real cut-down version).

  38.    Registered  users of TOTAL WAR 1.x versions will be able to download a
  39. special shareware version, with the full game since its beta versions.  I
  40. don't  know  how to thank you all for the support...  so I believe giving
  41. you the 2.0 version in its full format is my way of doing it.

  43.    If  you  have  not  registered this present version and like the game,
  44. please consider registering.  I worked like a maniac to get the game done
  45. and as far as I can tell; bug free...  believe me that is hard work!

  49.                    appear!!
