  4. We hereby propose to furnish all materials and perform all
  5. labor necessary for the completion of Davit Installation
  6. of the following specifications:
  7.  
  8.     One No. 1000 lb. galvanized davit installed on seawall
  9.  
  10.     Four-way lifting bridle
  11.  
  12.     Three 2"x8" wood fenders anchored to the wall with 5'
  13.     rubber bumper strip on each.
  14.  
  15. This work is to be performed on Lot_____Blk________Sub.
  16. Div.____ for     [name of owner]    , Owner, in accordance
  17. with the drawings and specifications submitted for the
  18. above work.  The total cost including state tax is   [amount]
  19.  
  20. Payments to be made as follows :  the sum of   [amount]  to
  21. be paid upon the approval of this contract and the balance
  22. of   [amount]   upon the completion of the work.
  23.  
  24. Any alteration or deviation from the above specifications
  25. involving extra cost of material or labor will only be
  26. executed upon written orders for same and will become an
  27. extra charge over the sum mentioned in this contract.
  28. All agreements must be made in writing.
  29.  
  30. Property lines shall be designated by substantial marks, by
  31. owner or his certified engineer.  The contractors shall not
  32. be liable, as regards to the completion of the work, for
  33. any delay which may be caused by reason or on account of
  34. any strike of workmanship, any Act of God, unavoidable
  35. accidents, inability to secure materials or to use materials
  36. in the performance of the work by reason of laws or
  37. regulations of the United States of America or the State of
  38.    [state]  ,  or any other circumstance beyond their
  39. control, other than the want of funds.  No such delay shall
  40. be deemed a default on the part of the contractors, and, in
  41. the event of any such delay, the contractor's time limit for
  42. performance of the work shall be correspondingly extended.
  43. Workmen's Compensation and Public Liability Insurance on the
  44. above work shall be provided by the Contractor.
  45.  
  46. This Contract shall be deemed null and void if not signed
  47. within thirty days.
