  2.                 THE FINAL FRONTIER - DISTRIBUTION INFORMATION

  6. Unlike  most  other  disk-mags,  THE FINAL  FRONTIER  is NOT  Public  Domain. 
  7. However, the disk (or disks as  the case may  be) is freely distributable, as 
  8. long as the following conditions are observed.

  11. 1.  This mag must  be distributed in it's  entirety - no files, software, art 
  12.     or music  must appear  on compilations  or magazine  cover-disks  without 
  13.     prior WRITTEN permission.
  14.  
  15. 2.  Magazines are free to review the disk and screen shots may be used of all
  16.     items  except for  the still  pictures  that  appear on  the disk  unless 
  17.     written permission is  given or if  the photos are  printed in black  and 
  18.     white only.  What is the  point of having  a slideshow when some mag goes 
  19.     and prints the pictures?  
  20.  
  21. 3.  It may be  distributed by  any P.D. library  as long as  the disk  is not
  22.     altered or the files are split on to separate disks and that no more than
  23.     £2 per disk  (or the equivalent in  other currencies) be  charged. If you
  24.     normally charge more than £2 per disk and would  like to distribute this,
  25.     please contact us first.

  27. 4.  ALL the files  on this magazine  are copyright of  The Final Frontier. If 
  28.     you wish to use any of the art, music or articles etc. on any of your own
  29.     disks or in any traditional paper fanzines, you must first obtain WRITTEN
  30.     permission from us. Please note that  we ARE interested in allowing paper
  31.     zines to reprint some material.

  33. 5.  The disk may NOT be distributed by the following PD libraries:-

  35.     3RD BASE PD - We have heard RUMOURS  that your collection was established
  36.                   through theft and fraud.
  37.  
  38.     AKORE PUBLIC DOMAIN/SHAREWARE - Your  prices are too high, and  you still 
  39.                                     expect  your customers  to pay  EXTRA for 
  40.                                     postage!
  41.  
  42.     PUBLIC DOMINATOR - You simply charge FAR too much for "free" software.
  43.  
  44.     START PD - A few of our production team have had some difficulty and were 
  45.                caused inconvenience with your service.

  49. If  you run any  of the above  and you would  like to  distribute this  disk, 
  50. contact me at the address below and maybe we can come to some arrangement.

  52. As I said, this disk is Freeware, but we would welcome any donations that you
  53. want to make. Any  cheques etc. should be made payable to  "Simon Plumbe" and 
  54. ALL money received will go back into  the production of the mag.  Although it
  55. is freely  distributable, our costs are high with  sending out free issues (a 
  56. four disk  issue will  cost us  over £2  to send  out, and  that is  for each
  57. contributor!!), providing  competition prizes, etc.  Also any photos  that we 
  58. want to  use will  need to  be digitised  so we'll  have to  use a digitising 
  59. service. It all costs money! Thanks.
