  1. Quick notes on using Starterm 3.0

  3. Starterm 3.0 installation
  4. 1. Create a disk named 'Starterm'
  5. 2. Create a directory called 'ST.Stuff'
  6. 3. Don't forget to rename 'Starterm.inf' to 'Starterm.info'
  7.  
  8. Notes for using TxEd with Starterm
  9. 1. TxEd MUST be called 'E' and reside in either the SYS:C directory or the 
  10.    current directory.
  11. 2. You may copy text into the Clip from TxEd and paste into Starterm.
  12.  
  13. Misc. Notes
  14. 1. In the function key macros, a '^' followed by a A thru Z will be translated
  15.    to the Control Code, such as ^C.
  16. 2. The '|' is translated into an End of Line character.
  17. 3. Each entry in the Dial Requester has a little Save Gadget next to it. 
  18.    Clicking on this will save all current parameter for the given Service. It
  19.    will also save the current function key macros.
  20.  
  21. Thats about it for Q&D documentation, I will provide a more complete set of
  22. instructions during the first week of July.
