  2.     Welcome to the first of the new range of `Bertie Bird' disks.
  3.     
  4.     These are aimed at people who are interested in FF disks but
  5. who want humour, and a bit of surrealism!!!
  6.  
  7. On the first disk is:-
  8.     
  9.     HamLab - An excellent utility, which the author says will
  10.          convert IBM IFF-ILB files to Amiga HAM and IFF.
  11.          At least I think thats what he says, his english
  12.          ain't great.
  13.  
  14.       FastDisk - A very good disk optimizer, BUT you need two drives,
  15.          and a spare disk!!!
  16.  
  17.        Encrypt - I've never really understood the idea behind
  18.          Encrypt programs, but this program is so easy to
  19.          use and to understand. I LOVE IT...
  20.  
  21.            TDM - The Directory Manager. This is a SID clone, but has
  22.          less functions. This means it's easier to use, and
  23.          takes up less memory, and disk space. It is also 
  24.          totally multitasking, with a shrink function for
  25.          WorkBench users everywhere.

  27.   Virus Checker v5.6 - - 
  28.            - This is the latest version of the best ever Virus
  29.          Killer. Now on it's 5th point 6th version (!), it
  30.          recognises 38 virus's. Not many you say, but it is
  31.          about the only WorkBench based killer about.
  32.  
  33.        SysInfo - My favourite System Revealler... It works with
  34.          all ECS systems, and gives speed comparisons
  35.          with your favv machines.

  37.         
  38.      DiskX - A really handy Utility if your an Outer Mongolian
  39.          SheepFarmer, with an IQ of 4,000,000... If you fit
  40.          the criteria, then you can edit disks, and sectors
  41.          etc. Its a bit bit odd, but I`ve been told its the
  42.          best.

  44.        Scenery - I believe that every disk should have a fractal
  45.          program on it. They`re not exactly useful, but the
  46.          results are bloody cool. Next Months will be err,
  47.          MandelVroom, if its PD!!!

  49.       WBMandel - This is a little amuzer! It opens a small window on
  50.          the WorkBench screen and draws a pretty mandel in
  51.          it.
  52.  
  53.       ZoomLenZ - This is another amuzing little thingy!!! It displays
  54.          in a window a magnefied view of the area around the
  55.          pointer. This can be changed by the slider on the left
  56.          hand side.
