  3. Some notes on this disk:
  4.  
  5. Original arrangement taken from the Lautenmusik manuscript for Lute,
  6. transcribed for Classical Guitar.
  7.  
  8. My arrangement follows the guitar version authentically with a little bit
  9. extra added here and there and of course a drum section added which was
  10. never intended on the original version by Bach. The Lead Guitar sound I
  11. Pinched from a record. I sampled it using AMAS, and it is the sound of
  12. Gary Moore.

  14. I wonder if Bach is turning in his grave, or even headbanging in his grave?

  16. The Music of Bach lends itself very well to Sequencing, because it is
  17. essentially music that usually has 2 or more melodies running side by side
  18. and normally played with a constant tempo. (some of it anyway)
  19. Bach was also the master of a very Dark sound. He was a deeply religious
  20. man, which I suppose accounts for this.

  22. The Program I used to create the music is Called Med2.13 and it is a public
  23. domain disk which has a replay routine called Medplayer2.10 which is what I
  24. used to play the music on this disk.

  26. Med2.13 also support MIDI, which is my main area of interest. I also use
  27. Music-X, which is very good package that supports either note by note
  28. music entering, or real time. Well worth while buying this package if you
  29. are interested in music.

  31. both med2.13 and medplayer2.10 have statements to the effect that they can
  32. be used for inclusion in programs without consent of the author.

  34. Graphics created using DpaintIII and executed by a program called showpic.
