IBM OS/2 Warp Video Fix Diskette Version 1.02
=============================================
What This Diskette Does
-----------------------
The OS/2 Warp Video Fix Diskette eliminates screen blackout
during the OS/2 installation for the ThinkPad computer.
If you do not encounter video problem during installing OS/2,
you do not need to use this diskette.

Installation Procedure
----------------------
Update the video programs using the OS/2 Warp Video Fix Diskette
during the OS/2 installation as follows:
1. Start the OS/2 Warp installation.
2. When you are prompted to remove the OS/2 Diskette 1 and
restart the computer, insert the OS/2 Installation Diskette
and restart the computer instead.
3. Continue the installation, following the instructions on the screen
until the "Welcome" panel appears.
4. Press F3 and go to the command prompt.
5. Insert the OS/2 Warp Video Fix Diskette into the diskette drive.
6. Type the following command at the command prompt and press Enter:
A:ÆREPVGA C
(where "C" is the drive where OS/2 Warp is to be installed.)
7. Remove any diskette from the diskette drive and restart the
computer.
8. When selecting a video driver, select the VGA display driver.
9. When you are prompted to remove any diskettes and
restart the computer, insert the OS/2 Installation Diskette
and restart the computer instead.
10. Repeat the steps 3-7.
11. Install the SVGA (800x600 or more with 256 colors or more) video
mode driver using the "ThinkPad Video Features Diskette for OS/2."
