What This Diskette Does
-----------------------
The Video Features Diskette I for Windows 3.1 enables drivers to:
- Improve the drawing performance on the display.
- Provide higher resolutions (up to 1024x768).
- Provide various color depths (256, 64K, or 16M).
The following models are supported:
- ThinkPad 760C, 760CD, 760L, and 760LD
- ThinkPad 760E, 760EL, and 760ELD
- ThinkPad 365X and 365XD
Notes: 1. The ThinkPad 760E that has an SVGA(800x600) panel is
supported.
2. If your machine type is 9547-x4G 9547-x4K or 9547-x4T,
please DO NOT install this diskette. Please install
"Video Features Diskette II for WIN31" for your system.

- (Fix) The Windows desktop can now be set to 1024x768 and 256-color
mode when the computer has a Pentium 120MHz and the display
device is set to CRT-only.
- (Fix) A Windows general protection fault no longer occurs in
256-color mode when a 16M-color bitmap file is opened using
PaintBrush.

- (New) Support for ThinkPad 760E.
- (Fix) The DOS full screen (VGA mode 12h) is no longer corrupted
during the return to the DOS full screen from the Windows
desktop, and when the DOS full screen is set to VGA mode 12h.
- (Fix) The DOS full screen is now synchronized in some BIOS levels
during the switching of the display device to CRT-only from
LCD-only.

- (Fix) The mouse pointer no longer stops for a moment while running
BDXPC5.EXE (PC/3270 IWS) in the Windows background.
- (Fix) A Windows general protection fault no longer occurs during
printing with the IBM 5586-H02 image printer driver.

- (Fix) A Windows general protection fault no longer occurs when
TranXit is used.
<1.10>
- (New) Conventional memory usage for the video driver is reduced.
- (New) The default resolution is set to the LCD panel size (LCD-only)
or the maximum CRT resolution (CRT-only).
- (Fix) The font is no longer corrupted when a big font is displayed
at ScreenShow with Freelance Version 2.1.
- (Fix) A Windows general protection fault no longer
occurs when a bitmap file is opened using FoxPro.
- (Fix) (DSTN LCD model only)
The Windows desktop no longer blacks out with a 64K-color
setting during the returning to the desktop after the display
device is switched to LCD-only from CRT-only in the DOS full
screen.
- (Fix) A Windows general protection fault no longer occurs during
printing with the HP DeskJet printer.
Installation Guide
------------------
1. Start DOS and go to the Windows directory (usually C:ÆWINDOWS).
2. Type SETUP and press Enter.
3. Using the cursor keys, highlight the Display field; then
press Enter.
4. Highlight Other (Requires disk ...) in the list and
press Enter.
5. Insert the Video Features Diskette I for Windows 3.1 into the
diskette drive.
6. Make sure the path is set to A:Æ and press Enter.
7. Select your favorite display resolution and color depth.
Then press Enter.
8. Follow the instructions on the screen.
