  46. NOTE: The ThinkPad Video Features for OS/2 Warp diskette must be labelled
  47.       as CTDISP 1, before installing the driver.
  48.       For labelling a diskette, go to DOS prompt and type
  49.       LABEL A:CTDISP 1
  50.       Press ENTER.

  53. Before installation of this display driver, the system display should be set
  54. to VGA mode. VGA is the default video mode enabled when OS/2 is installed.
  55.  
  56. If the current system primary display is not VGA, or if a previous version of
  57. this driver is being used, the system should first be returned to VGA mode.
  58. To restore VGA mode, use Selective Install and select VGA for Primary Display.

  63. To install this driver, do the following steps:
  64.  
  65. Step 1: Open an OS/2 full screen or windowed session.
  66. Step 2: Place the ThinkPad Video Features for OS/2 Warp Diskette in drive A.
  67.  
  68.         Type A: <ENTER> to make this the default drive.
  69.  
  70.         Type INSTALL A: C:  <ENTER>
  71.  
  72.         where A: is the floppy disk drive and
  73.         C: is the hard disk partition containing \OS2
  74.  
  75.         Once the Install Program is completed, do a system shutdown and
  76.         reboot.

  78.         A log of the information output during the install can be found
  79.         in <root>:\OS2\INSTALL\CTINSTL.LOG

  82. Step 3: Open the System Setup folder and run Selective Install to
  83.         install the new device driver and configure the video
  84.         system.
  85.  
  86.         Follow the instructions on the screen to set up the OS/2 display
  87.         drivers in your system.  First, select Primary Display from the System
  88.         Configuration Window. From the list of Primary Display Adapter Types,
  89.         select Chips and Technologies 65545 and then select OK. Specify the
  90.         correct source directory (A: Drive, if installing the display driver
  91.         from the diskette drive), when prompted. Once the installation is
  92.         complete, shutdown and restart the system for the installed changes to
  93.         take effect.

  95.         When the display driver is installed, it will be initialised
  96.         for 640x480x256 display mode.
